Fair handling of a medical emergency

Had to cancel the trip due to a compassionate (medical) reason. Hotel was unresponsive at first but was really quick when they got to it. Once I submitted supporting documents, they were able to make positive accommodation by providing a full refund for a nonrefundable rate. I never got to stay at this hotel this time, but would like to in the future if the price is right.

Really nice location near 7/11 a shopping mall and bangla road it can be noisy at night but it did not bother us. The AC in our room was leaking and our suitcases got wet however they did not hesitate to give us another room overall it was a good stay.

Humiliating and Discriminatory Experience.

Our recent stay at this hotel turned into one of the most humiliating experiences I have faced while traveling.
During our stay at Centro-One Bangla, we went on a day tour while housekeeping cleaned the rooms. After the cleaning, we noticed that one towel was missing from one of the rooms. Since we were three guests, a total of three towels were provided across the two rooms.
At check-out, the receptionist, Wat, accused us of stealing it.
I opened all my bags in front of other guests to prove nothing was taken, but he refused to return my deposit and forced me to pay 500 THB.
He shouted at me in the lobby, embarrassing me publicly.
Since we are from Pakistan but resemble Indians/Arabs, he repeatedly said: “You Indians are bad, you Indians are dirty, All Indians and Arabs are the same.”
Any time you ask for any service staff laughed at us and made sarcastic jokes in Thai language, making the situation even more humiliating.
Complimentary water bottles, which were part of our booking, were denied and said those are out of stock.
At 7:45 AM during breakfast, I was refused a coffee cup with the excuse that the cups were not washed.
When I escalated the issue, higher management was not responsive.
They only gave false promises of resolution but took no real action.
This was an unprofessional, disrespectful, and discriminatory experience. I am sharing this so that other travelers are aware before booking this hotel.

Very good hotel! Good value for money! The place is clean and well maintained. Adel is very welcoming and friendly. The room is not soundproof. Felt very good there. The restaurants around are also very good. And you can walk to Bangla Road and the beach
