A refuge in Patong

If you're looking for a place right in the midst of Patong that still provides a great escape from all the lively nightlife come to the Grand Mercure and you will be sure to still enjoy a great night's sleep. The General Manager has been here for 12 years and his staff are all great. The rooms and spotless and the value for money exceptiona. Their amazing buffet breakfast will set you up for the whole day!

Unbeatable location

Checkin was smooth and got upgraded to a pool access room. The bed was comfortable and the AC was good.
All the front staff were young and energetic, created good atmosphere during various afternoon activities.
Foot massage was very very good for 1 hour, did in privacy in a massage room, highly recommended.
Breakfast was good with so many choices, even gluten free food was available, nice one can sit outside next to the main pool.
The main pool was busy from around midday, not a place to do laps, lots of children but all great atmosphere. With the loud music in the afternoon near the pool, it will be hard to have a nap, no problem at night, very quiet.
It was only around 20 min to Bangla Road, a little bit less to JungCeylon. I like the Lounge which opened only from 11am to around 5pm I think, a nice, quiet, cool place to have some non alcoholic drinks with finger food.
The Craft Beer Lounge near reception was good too, there was a big screen for sports and ample sofas available.
I was a little bit worry when I arrived that there were so many families, but there were more than enough spaces for everyone.
Cleaning staff will knock on my door (I didn't have DND sign ON) to ask if I need the room cleaned or turn down service, very proactive, well done.

Marvelous!

I'm based in Taipei and a Black Card member of A Joy, dining there every month. I must say, the seafood chef at Bubbles/Grand Mercure Phuket Patong is incredibly skilled at preparing white shrimp. The freshness and chilling were impeccable, surpassing many restaurants in Taipei that cost four times as much – a truly impressive surprise.
Moreover, even out of season, the meat is of high quality, and the lamb ribs are unforgettable.
Thank you to the staff, James and Peer, for the warm welcome, which made my Songkran and Phuket holiday a wonderful dining experience.

This place was great everything we want to do very close to this hotel. The hotel was very clean and the buffet was amazing.

Excellent location. Easy short walk to shopping centre , night life, beach. No taxi required at all for our stay in patong. Daily shuttle bus to shopping centre at 12:15pm which was convenient if you don’t want to walk. Staff all were lovely. The restaurant across the road was delicious and affordable . Are there many times. Buffet breakfast also great.
