Free breakfast is made to order by the owner who is a trained chef and is GREAT. Staff are helpful and attentive.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I originally paid for a 12-night stay but ended up leaving after just 2 nights because the conditions were unacceptable.
The customer service was poor from the start—staff were unhelpful and did not address my concerns properly. The hotel itself was dusty and dirty, which made it very uncomfortable to stay in. On top of that, there was no elevator, which was extremely inconvenient, especially with luggage.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It did not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness or service.

Excellent, friendly staff. Small, kind of run-down room (multiple burned out lightbulbs, shower needed more water pressure). Narrow, winding stairs. But the place has a great character to it; location is great!

Charm Hotel is a wonderful family-run hotel in Istanbul, and we were absolutely delighted with our stay. What truly sets this place apart is the personal attention and genuine hospitality. On several nights we returned to the hotel quite late, and the owners were still awake to welcome us, make us tea, and sit with us to talk for hours.
It never felt like staying in a hotel — it felt like staying with friends. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and sincere, and you can really feel the care they put into their guests.
If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated like family rather than just another guest, I highly recommend Charm Hotel. We would definitely stay here again.
