The hotel has a great location with convenient access to the tram and ferry. We had an issue with the toilet, and while the staff made an effort to fix it, it unfortunately didn’t worked. The hotel can be noisy on weekends because of the bar on-site, so it may not suit those seeking a quiet stay. The staff were friendly and polite.

This hotel definitely qualifies as budget. It's amazing price and location make it worthwhile, however, the atmosphere and physical attributes of the accommodations qualify as "dingy". Biggest issue was the noise. While I am a very good sleeper and normally happily take some street noise for a prime location, the level of noise here was very high, both from talking and movement within the hallways and especially from the thrum of music outside. If you are looking for budget and convenience, it is a decent pick, but I'm not sure the pictures and other reviews aligned with my own experience.

Vehicle cannot enter the side street where the hotel is located.
We have to carry our own luggage to walk for a distance in order to reach the hotel.

I had a concerning experience that I feel future guests should be aware of.
One evening, I left my wallet in the hotel room. Unfortunately, while we were out one evening, someone attempted to use my card fraudulently. The unauthorized charges started before we even got back to the room, which was very concerning. When we returned, everything was still in place, including my card. I hadn’t used it anywhere else during the trip except to pay for the hotel, so I believe it’s likely that my card details were compromised during our stay.
The hotel’s security felt very lacking. The reception area was often empty, the main entrance door was left open at all hours, and there was easy access from the bar downstairs. It didn’t feel secure at all.
I can’t say for certain how or where my card was cloned, but this was the only place it had been used. The timing and lack of basic security make it hard to ignore. I’m sharing this so that other travelers are aware and can take extra precautions. The room may be fine, but the lack of security is a serious issue that the hotel really needs to address.

Mold, big bugs, and scammers. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else
I booked 9 nights at the Wolf Hotel, but after just one night in two separate, filthy rooms, I had no choice but to leave. The rooms felt uncomfortably unmanaged & dirty, with disgustingly yellow mattresses (too bad I didn’t photograph that as well) making me genuinely afraid of what else might be lurking. Mold is dangerous, and it can hide in plain sight, so staying felt like a serious health risk.
After five frustrating conversations with Booking and countless others with the property, they had the nerve to keep all my money for just one terrible night. They’re ignoring Booking’s emails and they even told me I’d get a refund, only to keep dragging it out, probably hoping I’d just give up. But I didn’t.
There are plenty of hotels in Istanbul; do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. This place and its hosts are an absolute scam!
