Very recomended hotel in Konya

Nice and Friendly staff, close to the center, very good breakfast, we were staying 2 night in KonA and we could imagine to stay longer there but we habe no time. Very recomended hotel in Konya

Excellent stay - authentic and relaxing atmosphere

The location is ideal, a few minutes' walk from the Mevlana Museum and the city's main historical sites. You can easily discover everything on foot while enjoying a quiet environment.
What makes this establishment truly special is its warm and authentic atmosphere. You get more of the impression of being welcomed into a charming family home than into a hotel. The traditional building, the garden, and the common areas create a very friendly and relaxing ambiance.
A big thank you also to the manager for his kindness and his attentive welcome.
A place full of character that I recommend without hesitation to anyone wishing to discover Konya in an authentic and human setting.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Dervish Hotel in Konya. The room was very clean and really nice.
The city center with the Mevlana Museum and the Mevlana Cultural Center (where the dervish ceremony is held) are pretty close by - within 10-15 min walking distance.
The breakfast was delicious with fruit (partly) from the garden. And the host and his family was extremely helpful and speaks an excellent English.

This property is located a short walk to the center of town. The owner/manager could not do any more to make the stay special, from advice of where to eat or see a Dervish ceremony. He also is very knowledgeable regarding local rugs and has a wonderful rug store. (& wont pester to buy!) Would have liked to stay longer.

My great experience of the Orel Dervish

Otel Dervish is ideally located five minutes from the Mevlana mausoleum square and the main bazaar.
It’s in a beautifully restored Turkish manor house with lovely carpets everywhere. The grounds are well kept and secure . Muammer and the staff are exceptionally hospitable and very informative. I especially enjoyed conversations with Muammer as he has broad knowledge of Turkish culture and history. The Turkish breakfast is a wonderfully varied and ample buffet. The rooms are bright, roomy, with modern bathrooms. Everything is spotlessly clean. It is in a very quiet location with the front rooms having a view of the Selemiye mosque.
I found the Dervish a wonderful value especially considering the excellent quality of all of its attributes.
