Homely place

Very nice views and welcoming family in this homestay. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was huge. Rooms were small and cosy. Bring jumpers and jackets as it gets cold. Showers were clean and there was hot water sometimes.

Beautiful place to stay with a great view above Kabale

I stayed at Bahumura Guesthouse for three weeks in total and really loved this place! There is a beautiful and calm terrace from which you have a great view above Kabale but still it was only around 5 minutes by motorbike and 15 minutes walking distance to the city center. The owner and the staff was very friendly, the breakfast delicious and the room very clean. You can buy water there and use the kitchen for a small fee. There were also some cute goats there. The surronding was nice for taking a walk. Overall, I would really recommend this place to stay and I would always go there again if I am coming back to Kabale. Thank you so much for the great time I had with you!

Best place to stay in Kabale!!

I've spend months in Kabale and have stayed at several of the area hotels and guesthouses and none compare to Bahumura Home.
I brought a team here earlier this month for 10 days. Moses and Peace made us feel right at home, were very hospitable and accommodating, and even brought a chef from Kampala to cook for our group during the duration of the trip (we did NOT request this, but it goes to show you that they go above and beyond to make their guests stay as good as is possible).
The rooms are roomy, clean and comfortable, there are more than enough bathrooms (most rooms have their own), and the outside covered gazebo/patio was the perfect place to start each day eating an excellent breakfast and looking out over the beautiful valley below.
The last thing that I will mention is that the price is significantly less than any of the other places in the area.
You will miss out if you choose not to stay here!

Welcoming and friendly

I stayed at Bahumura for 12 nights with a group of friends. The rooms were comfortable and we were all made very welcome. Good food and very accommodating to individual requirements - thank you Moses and all the staff for a very enjoyable visit, nothing was too much trouble.

Homely value for money

Spent a night at Bahumura Guesthouse as I was traveling back to Kampala. The guesthouse has a lovely homely touch and the staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Another plus is the unique view over Kabale town.
