Stay for son’s wedding at Dorney Court
Character room itself was lovely but incredibly hot and the one small fan was not sufficient enough alongside an ultra heavyweight quilt. I had no sleep for 2 nights and requested that the duvet was removed for our second night and changed for a sheet. This didn’t happen and returning from the wedding we had to track down a sheet and sort ourselves. We had all the windows open and blinds down and curtains closed during the day but ridiculously hot ( I understand that air conditioning was impossible as it was in the old section of the building but efficient fans are needed).
I felt the bathroom small and expected towels to be tidied up .

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for your kind comments about the setting of the hotel and the décor of our character room. I'm so pleased to hear that you liked the room itself. I'm sorry, however, that you found the room too warm and that the request for a sheet instead of the duvet wasn't followed through. I completely understand how uncomfortable this must have been, especially during the warmer weather.
We do have a Duty Manager on site 24 hours a day, and if we had known after your first night that you were still struggling, we would have been more than happy to look at alternative options or do everything we could to make you more comfortable.
For future stays, we also have a selection of rooms with air conditioning available for a small supplementary charge. These can make a significant difference during warmer periods, and we'd be delighted to help you choose one should you decide to stay with us again.

In hot weather the room is unbearable with no air conditioning.
Carpet ideally should have been replaced years ago .

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional stay – gorgeous food and a wonderful welcome!
The highlight of our stay had to be the food—absolutely gorgeous and beautifully prepared. The service throughout was attentive and professional without feeling forced. The hotel itself provides a lovely, relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect getaway.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
