Good for the Price

Better than I expected based on the price and reviews. I paid £50 for a twin room for me and my brother. We were at 2000Trees Festival for a day until midnight, so just needed a place to store bags, shower, and sleep. The room is very close to Cheltenham Spa, so perfect when travelling by train like I did. The rooms are basic, with communal showers, but they are good value in the context of £25 each. The showers were decent, the room was clean with kettle, tea / coffee, soap, and towels. If you book a room looking for somewhere basic and cheap but well located, like youth hostling, then the rooms are good value for students or anyone just looking for a cheap night. For en-suite etc, the next options are £30 or more dearer.

Terrible - Avoid

Having been availed of £99 for this booking, upon arrival to room number 8, the room smelt strongly of urine.
The wallpaper was peeling off and plaster was coming away from the window frame meaning it was very drafty.
The plastic shower tray appeared to have burn marks on it, I assume from previous guests having smoked in the room and discarded cigarette butts therein.
One of the windows was missing any sort of blind or curtain, the counter tops were stained, the microwave and cabinets were not clean.
The toilets and shower are outside and seperate to the 'studio', again, they didn't feel clean.
The bed looked to be a poor quality sofa bed type and linen and towels poor quality with rips and threads showing at the edges of the towels.
I immediatley called and advised the contact number and was offered an alternative room.
I declined and immediately left the building as the general feel of the place had been significantly impacted by my experience. In addition, when booking, the site advised 'one room left' so I'm not sure how another room would have been provided?!
I would definitely not return, nor recommend.

Parking was very good. We DID NOT STAY there due to the fact it is a SHARED TOILETS! We booked alternative accommodation at great expense! I REPORTED THIS TO YOU ON SUNDAY 29th March. The room was misold due advertised for holiday use and it's only an over priced Doss house. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

The bed was broken and needs replaced, the bedding was frayed.
The hotel loby door is pin controlled, but reality was you don't need the pin as the door just opens, making the whole property insecure

Cheap and cheerful. Great communication before the stay which was 5 star but the accommodation was what we paid for. It was clean and comfortable.
