Good overall.

Great plate of food with great service and nice chilled environment. Food was nice and fresh, portion sizes are great. Staff were good with the children and needs. Recommended.

Pretty poor for what I paid for 1 night. Room was very dated, shower that only trickled water, black mould around bath. Can't even get a decent coffee at breakfast, same instant nescafe sachets offered in the room with hot water provided. Spent many a night in a variety of hotels in different countries, this place is definitely to be remembered for the wrong reasons.

There was an overwhelming smell of deep fried food that permeated the entire room even with the windows wide open. Extremely disappointed with stay. Ended up moving after one night even though second night was non refundable.

Would return with changes made

Arrived 3pm, room was ready, clean enough, not big but ok, bathroom small , shower door opens , if your big at all u will struggle to get actually in to shower which is fine when u do get in. Poor shower but done the job.clean towels supplied, rooms are not serviced, at all, u ask for toilet roll etc, and got no problem, staircase no good for walking issues, very steep. Bar area, tables need re-furb. Very chipped, bar area needs a good clean on looking further, bfast , order night before, not a problem, 1st morning, was told no bacon no black pudding, said we would get extra, got 1 extra sausage, tea, coffee, juice all good, cereal available, toast, 2nd day big change to bfast all there, think possible new owners taking over as lots getting shifted and meetings going on over 3 days, staff never interacted with talking etc and we were in bar every afternoon over 4 days, on leaving today I stripped bed, always do when abroad etc to help, was quite disgusted at mattress protector large yellow pee stain on it! I wouldn't have laid on it if i had seen it before! Please buy some decent pillows, no protectors on and absolutely thin, old building, windows very draughts, blinds banged about with windows shut, I think a few tweaks and hotel could be 1st class, great location,

Not Again

Went in for food . Seated on a table next to the till . Grubby table . Television blaring playing football.decided on just soup with bread and a pot of tea . Soup was bland and the bread was cheap sliced white curling at the sides NOT AGAIN
