The Bunkhouse

We had a fantastic two-night stay at The Bunkhouse. It was delightfully quirky, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully peaceful—just what we needed to unwind. The hot tub was a luxurious touch, perfect for relaxing under the stars. Each morning began with a lovely continental breakfast, and the service throughout our stay was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A hidden gem we’d happily return to!

Lovely atmosphere

Lovely hotel and beautiful location.
My son and i stayed for one night to attend a local event. The owners were super friendly and helpful, nothing to fault it.
There's a working farm that must be great for younger kids and it is a short drive from Frome

What a little Gem!!!

What a Gem!
Such a quaint, quiet (until we arrived) stunning little place for our family weekend with the kids and a great base for our trip to Longleat.
Very clean and tidy with tea coffee water and towels!
Sheep on the hill kept the kids entertained.
Peta couldn’t have done enough to accommodate us and opened the restaurant and bar just for us. Evening supper and breakfast was lovely.
A perfect getaway stay and so close to Frome, Longleat, Stonehenge etc

Wonderful

Beautiful location, amazing room for families - double bed, fits two put up beds plus a sofa bed. Staff are friendly, helpful & great fun. Several different options for staying in if you fancy being a bit different. Really close to Longleat.

Lovely little inn with a great breakfast

We had a great two night stay at the Vobster Inn, in February. The rooms are good for a B&B standard. Plenty of heating which was lovely for the cold nights. Rooms had tea and instant coffee and a functioning tv.
Breakfast was served in the pub. You could order anything off the menu (hand in the order the night before) and the food was great. We did not eat or drink at the pub aside from breakfast.
A good base to explore the lovely local area and we would not hesitate to stay here again.
