Lovely last minute evening out
Booked last minute so a great surprise treat.
Lovely friendly service from Sharon, great food which came out well timed across the evening.
Lovely bottle of red wine of the day (Primitivo from Puglia).
We are both feeling well fed and happy after a lovely cosy evening.
I enjoyed all of the food, especially the Camembert, the mushrooms and the belly pork, the Asian beef salad wrap was a great freshener with spice and cool feel of the lettuce.
All in all a really good relaxing evening, thanks Sharon and Ken.

Warm place and owners, excellent service and food.
The food was very good, freshly made; the room was very clean, warmly decorated and practical. The room was quiet even though pretty central, and in the mornings we woke up with the clippity-clop of the passing horses and their riders - which I found adorable.
There is plenty of parking and the location is very good. Should you need to get to Masham but don't want to drive, the bus stop is less than 5 minutes away.
All in all, staying at the Castle Keep Tea Rooms, certainly improved our weekend and we would love to return next time.

Lovely
If you like to dine somewhere a bit qwerky then this is the place for you. Full of character, mismatched furniture etc etc , friendly staff , good food and only a few steps from the castle... what more do you need ? Absolutely nothing
