A lovely, cosy stay!
The accommodation was cosy, warm, and spotlessly clean, and we really appreciated the thoughtful Easter touches—such as the wreath on the door and the cosy cushions and blankets.
We made great use of the hot tub and enjoyed relaxing in front of the wood burner in the evenings, watching films.
There was also a great selection of takeaways nearby—we especially enjoyed the Thai!
We honestly could have stayed longer. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Could have moved in permanently
Only a 3 night mini break to explore the north Kent coast but our Applewood apartment proved a great base.
It’s a short drive to big supermarkets so you can easily pick up supplies. It was nice to be able to self cater - especially as that meant not having to set alarms for breakfasts.
Beautifully converted stables, full kitchen, big comfy sofa, huge tv to watch films, separate bedroom and shower room. To be honest, I’d happily live there permanently! We gave the woodburner a go (even though it was July). My boyfriend just couldn’t resist!
Only a couple of things to note:
1. The guttering directly outside our stable door was a bit of a waterfall, so given it did rain, we had to do the occasional quick dash.
2. The koi pond waterfall will make you think its raining outside even when its not.
3. We think of ourselves as tech savvy but the oven nearly stumped us. We tried everything … even gave the owners a call. Resorted to finding a pdf instruction manual online. So might be worth including some instructions in the welcome / info binder?
Tip - I booked direct via their website as worked out cheaper than any other site.

Could be so much nicer
Whilst the general place was very nice, it was not clean and the hot tub was set so high and hot we couldn’t even use it very much as it took so long to cool it down.
The outside seating was covered in debris from the trees and berries. Was a real let down.

Family Visit
The cottage itself was very dusty, we had lots of wood lice in the room as well.
We visited during the summer so it was quite hot, the fans provided are really noisy and couldn’t be left on.
The shower leaked all over the floor.
The toaster only worked at one side.
The sofa has seen better days, took 2 of us to pull our mother out of it!
On a positive note, the hot tub area was very nice, only problem we had was the people from the next cottage walking into our Hot tub area thinking anyone could use it! Maybe this needs to be made clear.
Kitchen facilities were good.
Plenty of TV choices.
All in all our stay was very average.
Probably won’t return.
