We found the stay very enjoyable. The hotel was in an excellent location for the local amenities and the beach. Parking was never a problem. There were plenty of places to eat and drink, both inside and al fresco. We particularly enjoyed the Thatchers cider. Everywhere was very clean and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would be very happy to recommend your hotel to anyone we know going to Westward Ho, and would like to return one day.

Very hot, no fan

We arrived in a heat dome and were given a small extremely hot and airless room. No fans were available (eight rooms share 2 fans). Spent a wretched night. Only highlight was lovely young employee who brought us coffee in the morning. The patrons and employees deserve better. Excessive heat is increasingly common and failure to have fans available is absolutely ridiculous and dangerous.

Bed & Breakfast Stay

The 2nd time we have stayed here. Stayed in Instow and Appledore rooms both lovely.
Great breakfast service with a smile from Ruby who couldnt do enough for us !

The hotel was clean & in a good location. We went with bed & breakfast, the room was a good size & the breakfast was plentiful & tasty. The bar area was clean with plenty of seating & with a good choice of drinks. I left somethings behind in the room when I left the hotel & on realising this when I got home 4.5 hours later I rang to let them know and to see if I could get the things I left behind posted back to me. I spoke with Hannah who was extremely helpful and ensured my items were returned to me within a couple of days. The visit to the hotel was a positive experience and I can't speak highly enough about the pleasant attitude of the staff and their willingness to help make our stay as good as possible.
