Needed a couple of nights as I working in the area

Amazing value for money. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh milk in the room with it's own fridge was a bonus.
To be allowed access to the dining room to either eat a takeaway or cook (microwave) was much better than stopping in a hotel.
I would stop again

A very uncomfortable bed. Don't book via booking.com

Bed was too uncomfortable to get any sleep at all. I had to find an other hotel to stay in. I only ever got a small part of our booking cost back. I booked it initially via booking.com then added a couple more days via Annie's guesthouse directly. The part paid directly to Annie's guesthouse was paid back. Booking.com did not give any of the money back that I paid to them to book the initial few days. This was most of the booking cost. Ended up losing around £250.

Avoid!

Terrible! The bed was so uncomfortable I could not sleep and had to leave the next day because of this. Booking.com refused to refund me. And the guesthouse only partially refunded. Avoid!

Overnight stop for a gig

Lovely rooms with all amenities including a small fridge. All areas spotlessly clean. Close to beach also town centre. On road parking. Breakfast will fill you the day. Friendly and inviting atmosphere. Gaining entry through key code is easy, you just need to fill out form and then make a call. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Very happy with our stay at Annie’s Guesthouse

We were a few friends together, visiting South Shields and we each had an en-suite room and really enjoyed the stay. June took good care of us and cooked us delicious breakfast. Annie’s is well located in town and there is plenty of parking space.
