Ibrahim make your stay SUPER

I stayed at this hostel 2 times in 2 weeks travelling around Albania, I I decided to go back for my 2nd time it wasn't just for the cheap price itself but also for the people who work there like Ibrahim , he helped me with informations and making sure that my stay there was always comfortable, he's a nice talkative and helpful guy .

Very bad and unsanitary hostel, absolutely do not go there.

Our stay at this hostel was a huge disappointment. When we arrived in our room the beds were still full of other guests' hair. In the kitchen was a pan of water and chicken that was completely moldy, with a thick layer of mold on top. Also in the cupboards was moldy food. It was obvious that there hadn't been any cleaning in a long time.
In addition, the owner was totally unprepared for our arrival. We arrived at 01:30 in the morning and he told us to wait five minutes. In the end, it took more than 30 minutes for him to come back. When he finally came back he had a pillow under his arm that we had to use to sleep on. The rooms were not cleaned before our arrival and the hygiene was downright poor.
The situation was so unhygienic and unprofessional that we decided the same night to find another accommodation. Unfortunately we absolutely cannot recommend this hostel. Pictures do not correspond to reality at all!

Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

We booked the Royal Hostel Apartment months in advance (around January) and informed the property that we would arrive at approximately 8:00 PM. However, when we were almost there, the owner suddenly started sending WhatsApp messages saying that we would be staying at a completely different property (Blue Diamond). This was presented as a decision, not a question.
We refused because the alternative accommodation did not offer the same conditions we had booked. We specifically chose Royal Hostel because it had a private bathroom and was within walking distance of our pick-up point for an early morning tour.
The owner then claimed there was no space left at Royal Hostel, despite our confirmed reservation. When I stated that this was unacceptable and asked them to cancel the booking free of charge, they suddenly changed their story and said there had been a “misunderstanding” and that we were welcome to stay at Royal Hostel after all.
This completely destroyed our confidence in the property. It felt like they were trying to move us elsewhere at the last minute and only backed down when we insisted on a free cancellation and mentioned contacting Booking.com.
Communication was also very difficult due to poor English.
I cannot recommend a property that attempts to change a confirmed reservation to another location only minutes before check-in. Future guests should be aware that this may happen.
