Hotel Chambord Brussels Review
I stayed at the Hotel Chambord in Brussels and had a great experience. The rooms are clean and the location is truly excellent: the metro is right in front of the entrance and allows you to get around comfortably, while the center is easily reachable both on foot and by bike.
The hotel is a bit dated, but it lacks nothing and is absolutely adequate considering the price-quality ratio. Breakfast could be improved, but you cannot expect the level of a 5-star hotel.
Another aspect that I really appreciated is the quietness of the area. We walked and went around even at night, both on foot and by bike, without ever having any problems.
Overall, if you are looking for a convenient, quiet, and well-connected spot to visit the center of Brussels, I recommend it. For the price-quality ratio, it is more than sufficient.

Nice but far from being a universal transcendence!

The big plus? The location across from the Porte de Namur metro station....The single rooms are very rudimentary....Alas! Breakfast is very, very decent....The elevator is scary and it is high time to repair it.... As dilapidated as can be! It is definitely 50 years old!

Ignore the bad reviews this is a great hotel

This hotel was such a surprise. Room was fantastic and on two levels (room 6). Reception staff really helpful. Breakfast room and food just right. Tea and coffee in room. Located right next to metro and lots of bars and eateries nearby. Excellent value can't fault it would definitely go back.

Positive experience

The managers are very kind; at the time of booking, we requested a room without carpet due to certified allergy issues. All the rooms have carpet, but they managed to assign us a room without it. The staff is very helpful in providing information. Abundant breakfast with various options (cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, hot drinks, etc.). Optimal location close to the center, the metro, and the central station of Brussels. Highly recommended

The location is a bit far from the center; you have to go up and down hills. The furniture in the room was very old and poorly maintained. The bathroom was very old. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
