I chose this hotel because of its proximity to both the train station and to the museum Kunsten which was the reason of my going to Aalborg. The night staff was So accomodating when I arrived at 10 pm after a rather delayed train ride from Copenhagen. I needed something real to eat and the night staff directed to a grocery store nearby where I went to get a salad and something to drink - while I was away, the very nice guy had brought my luggage to my room on the 5th floor bc he could tell I was TIRED - thank you!

The reception were reslly helpful. The app had reserved for 2027 but we were lucky and still got rooms.
One of the rooms were clean and in ok condition, the other had old spiderwebs and dust on surfaces. The last room came late, and too tired to complain. Next morning we asked for better cleaning, but when my daughter came back from the funeral, not even half of the spiderwebs were removed. I then called from the funeral reception and was told the cleaning staff had left for the day. The reception said we could get another room, but we were not mentally in a place to change room 8 pm in the evening after a funeral.
Next morning there was only glutenfree crisp bread for breakfast. I complained and after 45 min they found some glutenfree rye bread. Not impressed to eat ryebread for breakfast.
The hotel itself is worn down.. need some renovation. If you are in Aalborg to party, the place might be ok, but we will not use this place again. The photos added is after the suposed extra cleaning the day after check-in

No cleaning of the room for three nights. All water in the bathroom because there where no showerveggs. No caffe maskin at the room

No ventilasjon in room. 31 degrees outside. Asked resepsjon for fan but they could not help and I had to buy one in store. Tv had only 3 channels.

We missed showercream and schampoo. The only elevator, said to be one of the oldest in town…, was very slow. We lived on top floor and used the stairs instead.
Breakfast was good but no orangejuice due to environmental reasons said the staff…
