My friend and I are students studying abroad in Europe for the semester, and we came here for the weekend. We were looking for a clean, cheap hotel in a great location and this was everything we wanted. We were so pleasantly surprised with how wonderful the room was for the price. Everyone working at the front desk was so accommodating, answered all of our questions, and allowed us to keep our luggage there during the day before check-in and after check-out.
We were on the top floor, our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view was wonderful. Not to mention the location is fantastic and you are so close to two big metro stops.
I would absolutely highly recommend this place!!

Hotel N&O is conveniently situated close to Oberkampf and Republique metro stations, bus stops and to a number of nice restaurants and cafes to have breakfast. On my view, the french breakfast is the only stumbling block in making the stay perfect, too high a price considering the contents. Coffee was good and it was plenty but the croisant... Some fresh pressed orange juice and eggs would have made a great difference. The hotel itself is well maintained but a bit wornout. We had a room upstairs with windows to the picturesque inner court, very peaceful and big enough room for two. Friendly and multilingual staff.

Great value hotel in a convenient location in Paris. The service at checkin / check out was great and the room comfortable. A bit out dated, but that did not bother us.

An OK price to quality ratio, fine for a few nights on business. Great location, only a 30-minute walk away from the city centre. But maybe don't choose this hotel for a romantic getaway or a family holiday.
In my room (36) the wall-to-wall carpeting seemed like it was decades old, full of huge stains of whatever liquids. Also, the smell of mold coming from the bathroom was so strong I kept waking up to it until I got the idea to keep the door shut during the night. There are no air vents in the bathroom, so the air will not move in there. Keeping the room's only window open during the day is a must to circulate the stench a bit.

Nice location, but average hotel

Good situated hotel, nearby metro Republique and on walking distance from the nice area Le Marais. The hotel rooms are clean and have everything you need, but they are small and "efficient". Shower in the bath, and you have to hold the shower yourself; can't put it up on the wall. The rooms have thin walls: you can hear quit a lot, also the metro underneath the hotel.
Staff is not particularly friendly.
Conclusion: if you just need a bed on a good spot: it's a fine hotel.
