Perfect location, beautiful property, flawless hospitality

The Beach Cottage in Kappad is gorgeous! it is such a beautiful property with amazing decor and thoughtful design. I came here for a solo trip by the beach and I loved my stay, I was very comfortable and the location really couldn't be any better. I tried lots of Kerala-style seafood dishes prepared fresh by Tek, their very talented chef. Everything was excellent value, I could not fault anything. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels across India and the Beach Cottage was the first ever to get my morning preferences correct: coffee as soon as I open my eyes and breakfast two hours later. I know this may sound trivial but when you are travelling these little things make all the difference. What a fantastic stay!

Kerala hospitality at its best in Kappad!

The gates open up to a view of the cottage which has been lovingly decorated in a mixture of modern and traditional styles. The caretaker Tek and his wife greeted us in the most friendly and hospitable manner, and we knew that we would be well taken care of if we needed anything. The garden was in a pristine condition as were the rooms which had an en suite bathroom in every room.
The Blue Flag beach deserved its award and was close enough to enjoy the sunsets. We spent days visiting local areas but it was pleasant to know that we were returning to the charming cottage and its wonderful facilities. They had games and cosy nooks to read in as well as dining areas for us to gather at.
I think we will definitely return there when we need a break or when visiting friends and relatives in the area. Highly recommended!

South Indian Trip

Booked The Beach Cottage while travelling with some friends through South India and we are so glad we did! We wanted to find a private space near the beach but safety and cleanliness were very important to us. The cottage feels so safe as it’s behind a solid gate, has cctv in the common areas, locks on all the doors and 24hr caretakers (a couple who are very kind and helpful). The place itself is very clean and gorgeous to look at with lots of cool features and the bedrooms had everything we needed. Host communication was brilliant and it was great value for money. You won’t regret booking here!

A beautiful beach cottage in paradise!

What a great trip! The accommodation is a really special place, it’s such a beautiful cottage and so close to the beach! It was very peaceful and private.
The murals and architecture were amazing and we loved the water feature, it was so calming.
We especially enjoyed the place at night with the colourful lights, but also felt equally comfortable in our own room with the streaming services, lots of books and cool games!
The caretakers (a married couple) were so helpful and made the experience even better.
The beach is pristine and has lots of great amenities.
Communication with our host and the caretakers was excellent both leading up to, and during our stay.
We will definitely be returning with friends and booking the whole cottage!
The pictures on the site are true to life, so we were really happy with the booking!
I highly recommend The Beach Cottage for anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay!
My only tip is get in while you can! This is a great listing and won’t be free for long!

Great visit

Beautiful place and great location, very close to Kappad Beach. All 3 bedrooms are clean and well designed. Very private, safe and easy to find. Will definitely be visiting again in the near future. Great place.
