At the limit of the paid circulation area.
Close to the city and parking at sweaty price (agreement with the hotel).
Clean and spacious room.

Excellent for visiting the city and aquarium

Excellent location for visiting the center of Genoa and in particular the aquarium, the hotel is located opposite. It does not have its own parking lot but in the immediate vicinity there is a public one with an agreement so it is easy to park through them, they provide you with a card for subscriber access and you pay directly at the hotel. The hotel reception is located on the
second floor of a historic building, no one comes to greet you on the street to help you with your luggage while you leave the car double-parked in a very chaotic area. The rooms are certainly large but need maintenance. The staff is kind but unfortunately not sufficient in number. Good quality breakfast. The restaurant inside the hotel is mentioned in the Michelin guide but I did not have the opportunity to try it. During our stay we did not have Excellent location for visiting the center of Genoa and in particular the aquarium, the hotel is located opposite. The rooms are clean, but in the room we had you could smell the mould so not good for an allergic person. Breakfast good if you order from the meny. Location nearby everything, but a bit dodgy in the evenings.

Theft from our room!

Theft from our room!
We stayed at this hotel for one night before continuing to another destination in Italy. During our stay, approximately €200 was stolen from our room while we were out in the city.
I discovered the money was missing immediately after checking out. I went straight to the reception desk to report it. The receptionist insisted that it was impossible and refused to help by checking the key card access logs or the security camera located directly outside our room. The receptionist also refused to assist us in contacting the police and instead accused me of having taken the money myself.
I made it very clear that I was not accusing the receptionist personally, but we were 100% certain the money had been stolen because it had been kept in two separate wallets, neither of which had left the room after we checked in.
Since the receptionist refused to help, we contacted the hotel owner. Unfortunately, he was no more helpful. In an email, he claimed that my account of the incident was untrue, while also saying they would investigate the matter. I never received any follow-up from the hotel, even though it should only have taken a few minutes to review the security camera footage.
The rooms and the location were good, but I definitely cannot recommend this hotel. Theft from a room is something a hotel may not always be able to prevent. However, accusing a guest of lying, claiming that I changed my story, and refusing to make any effort to investigate or help find a solution—regardless of who may have entered the room—is completely unprofessional. Their dismissive attitude only reinforces my impression that this is probably not the first time something like this has happened, nor is it likely to be the last.

Great hotel, Genoa was a surprising good stop over

First impression was excellent. The door man was courteous and accommodating, meeting us at the taxi and taking our bags to the room without checking in first.
Check was efficient, staff member was lovely, explained the city and area, showing us on the map things to see and do. Even escorting us to our room.
Elevator up to the room and was very clean.
Opening the door, you are greeted with vaulted ceilings and a spacious room, large king size bed and enough room to open 2 suitcases at once with ample amount of space. There was a double wardrobe and the bathroom was great, the shower even had a full seat in it for convenience.
The one negative was a small amount of mould on the shower base and the cord for the exhaust fan was mouldy as well.
The area was different. The market vaults are quaint but I can see it being a little sketchy at late night, the taxi driver advise us this as well, however the times we were out and about, we felt safe and secure.
All in all, great hotel and amazing staff.
