value for money / centre of bars etc
Just back after 3 days at this basic hotel, however the bed was very comfortable with clean sheets, the bathroom was above the norm, we had fresh towels each day and the shower was excellent with a variable head, loads of hot water with a fantastic pressure.
The hotel could not have been better situated right in the centre of the nightlife -flamenco- jazz bars - restaurants - metro and buses all close. The only downer was reception was on the second floor and the stair well was grotty otherwise value wise a good stay

THIN BRUNETTE RECEPTIONIST WITH ARROGANT AND POLITE GLASSES
My experience has been terrible. We arrived on Saturday, March 7 at 19:00h we were greeted by a blonde boy with blue eyes all right, they have an option to pay 20 euros and leave at 13:00h for the check out thing we were interested in and told us that when we left on the 8th we paid it.
On March 8, at 11:30h another receptionist came and woke us up entering our room and giving voices when we could stay until 13:00h. He forced me to come down and pay him the 20 euros at the moment or he called the police, I went down and paid them confronting him.
When we left I asked for the claim sheet and he didn’t want to give it to me, saying that the printer didn’t work and he looked like he was laughing in our face for it, he also closed the window to not attend to us, as if that wasn’t enough he told me to go print it myself and go upstairs. Finally, I did not want to fill out the claim and we waited 1 hour for him to do so.
Don't come to this place as cheap as you think, the receptionist we don't know NAME is thin brown and goes with glasses in our case he was wearing a cap. AN IMPRESSIBLE WITHOUT ANY EDUCATION.

Bad deal.
Good afternoon, not usually negative reviews, but this establishment deserves it. I was at work and had no choice but to bounce there because I was the closest to where I was and it was night. I provided them with the data for the invoice, which was wrong to send me the invoice, so I asked them to correct it. It seems that it is impossible for them, after several months, being ignored by email and phone treated with an excessive tone of voice on their part, in addition to not solving anything, the boy left me with the word in my mouth and hung up. I called customer service again and the same boy responded, to whom I complained about the ways and apologized. After more than 7 months of waiting for the invoice, I asked them for the claim sheet, and they didn’t listen to me either. So I think it's amazing to be denied the claim sheet, and also to have been completely ignored. Apart from this, the accommodation was quite dirty and old, and what was my surprise, when I found the bed blanket stained with semen... Cheers!

I have stayed in better hotels in Mexico boarder towns
This place is to be avoided at all or any costs!! No matter how little the room cost is. They wanted to charge me as much as a room 20 times better. The place is a dumpy converted apartment building undergoing renovations, so it's a mess. It is cramped, smelly and poorly lit. The stairwell is decrepit; there is no lift / elevator. The rooms would not be acceptable if they were offered as prison cells. The handrail on the steps is falling apart. It doesn't appear secure; people in the apartments can buzz in and possibly access the hostel's floors / rooms. Do Not Stay Here! Go to another hostel or inexpensive hotel. The Staff, however, is very pleasant. It is noisy, I heard screams (not of pleasure) from an argument with a young woman somewhere in the building. I have stayed in better quarters at a druggy hotel in NYC many years ago. AVOID this hostel.

Bad service
I stayed for one night. Woke up to a freezing room. The wall heater was. Not working. Called front destination and they confirmed it is broken. They had no other room. So I had to stay in this cold room. Next morning I talk to manager. His answer was all other rooms working so too bad yours didn't work. No compensation of any sort. No apologizes. I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. No views but I will never go back to this place.
