Set in Zaragoza’s historic centre, NH Ciudad Zaragoza is 300 metres from the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. It offers modern rooms, most with Basilica or River Ebro views.

Great hotel. Would have been better if there was a swimming pool! Air conditioning perfect despite 40 deg C outside (also v quiet)

Serviceable not special.
Double the staff and half the cost and this is a decent, serviceable, comfortable, convenient hotel. Granted we went during the eclipse and we prices were at a premium but it seems the staff were not increased to reflect this busy period.
Reception is very slow. Long waits and then quite clunky service.
Breakfast room and the bar are understaffed. And very often there is no one to help in either the restaurant or the bar.
There are some nice touches. Eclipse glasses were provided. And there is favoured water in reception. But this is inconsistent. There some times - not others. Same with the bottled water in the room - there some days not others.
The room is bright and clean. And rooms with a view have a nice river vista. The a/c could be better. Given we booked 9 months in advance and requested a double bed - twin was just irritating. Joyfully, there is a charging point by the bed. And the lights are easy to operate. (Not to be taken for granted!)
Breakfast till 11am is great. The spread is standard . But arriving at 10am - hot food had ran out and was not replaced.
Well located for the tram and a short stroll to the main square and the basilica.

Hotel of no great interest in Zaragoza
Hotel with average services and quite disappointing overall compared to the usual services at NH

The room was very clean. A little on the small side but okay for a 1 night stay. It was very well situated within walking distance to all the sites and restaurants. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful as well.

Awesome location
Location is superb, we had a river view room. Opposite the Roman wall and everything is a stones throw. Service is decent, very professional. Pet friendly, costs 30 per night and parking is great, if a little tight, costs 23 per night I think. Room was a little small, but had a fridge, safe and coffee machine plus kettle. Bathroom was small, but had a tub. Clean everywhere, used the gym twice, was very petit. Overall for the price and location, well worth it.
