I love boutique style’s hotels and this one checked all of the boxes. It was very charming, nicely decorated, and conveniently located. The building/property was one of my favorite details as well as the outdoor bar area which felt like I was in Europe, specifically in London because of a double decker UK bus that sat at the end of the bar garden as a decor. My only feedback to the hotel is that it’s time for some touch up work ie… repainting the walls in the room, replacing the velvet drapes and updating the bathroom (my sink worked fine but had a crack in it). Otherwise it was a great stay and the bed was very comfortable!

We absolutely loved our stay! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, the hotel was comfortable, and the location was fantastic. We had such a great experience that we can’t wait to come back again!

When I arrived, which was a half hour past check-in time, the room was still not ready. I also requested a high-floor, which they said they could accomodate, and then could not. FInally, on Hotels.com it banners that pets stay free. They do not.

A bit spare.
So this is a typical boutique NYC hotel in that the rooms are snug and a bit long in the tooth. The location is great and there are amenities available in the neighborhood which is good because there are none in the room. While the description here says that the rooms contain a kitchenette and mini bar our room has none of those unless you count an empty mini fridge as a mini bar. I can understand some rooms being more spare than others but even the cheapest motels give you something to boil water and packets of coffee or tea bags. Nothing of the sort here. Not even bottles water. If that doesn't bother you you'll like it here. But I thought that sort of penny pinching went a bit far given that the prices aren't cheap. Yes I've stayed at comparable places nearby which has these basics and more.
