We stayed here one night after a concert - it was clean and a very cozy home type vibe which was perfect. Exactly what we needed and only 15mins from lime street :) and from the small interactions with staff seemed lovely and welcoming

Romantic Getaway, Featuring Cockroaches

I stayed at this hotel with my wife, and while the service itself was okay, the hygiene situation was honestly really disappointing. The staff were polite enough, but the room just didn’t feel clean from the moment we walked in.
The worst part was when we pulled back the bed sheets and found cockroaches underneath. It was one of those moments where your stomach just drops. We were both shocked, and it completely changed how we felt about the stay. It’s hard to relax or enjoy anything after seeing something like that.
I really hope the hotel takes their cleaning standards more seriously, because the location and staff had potential — but the hygiene issues made the experience really uncomfortable for us.

Cozy Place is strategically located for visiting Liverpool's main attractions. The place is welcoming, the rooms and bathroom are clean, and the breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The owner is friendly and helpful. Recommended!

New Years Eve stay 2025

Ok, the location is on the edge, about a 10 minute walk to all shops and bars.. the only negative if you can even call it that. However.. Q Park car park 2 minutes around the corner, key box and great rooms.
Our room was beautifully clean, fabulous bed, warm, fresh towels.
We stayed downstairs in room 2, where we walked through to the kitchen, where all variety of tea and coffee, milk, fruit, crisps and biscuits were available to have.
Off the kitchen was a large shower room, stocked with toiletries including perfumes.
An iron, ironing board and hairdryer are also in the kitchen
Lock box code sent.
In the morning you went into the kitchen, got yourself cerals, toast, yoghurt, tea, coffee etc.
Was really like a home from home...family run business, met a couple of the family, who chat in the kitchen with us. Really friendly, would absolutely stay again.
We'd had an issue with Booking.com but liaised with Dave who sorted it out for us. We stayed NYE 2025 and couldnt have got a better price or service.

Texted the number provided regarding check in & shared our arrival time - no reply. Messaged again when we were trying to check in and he just said ‘I’ve sent you the instructions’ and then didn’t reply again for TWO HOURS. In the morning (15 minutes prior to checkout time) they banged on our door TWICE and one of the four people intimidatingly stood in the kitchen shouted ‘get out’ BEFORE CHECKOUT TIME. It made us feel unsafe, unwelcome and like children. They didn’t even acknowledge our existence apart from aggressively banging on the door…again this happened TWICE! Please consider this treatment when finding somewhere to stay. Safety is the bare minimum expectation when staying in a hotel etc. Wouldn’t ever consider staying here again.
