We had a very pleasant stay at the Royal National Hotel. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. It was easy to get around London and visit many of the city's attractions. We would gladly stay here again.

The rooms are extremely small and there’s no air conditioning. The windows open just a smidge, but not enough to cool down the room. Breakfast was decent but was overly crowded.

What can I say we book with you for our weekend in London, the second room was not ready until 3:45pm we were told this was because you were setting it up for our daughters birthday to find a towel and a bottle of wine which she couldn’t open in the room all which might have took 10mins to place, this ment that we were nearly late to the show we were planning to watch and we had no time to get ready before we went, we had a couple of guys knock on our door once we got in who could speak English point to the sofa bed and then leave, when we hit back to our room 5037 in the evening my husband sat on the end of the sofa bed and fall through, when he inspected the bed he realised that the sofa bed was broken and we then realised this was what the guys were talking about when they knocked on the door and left. All that night we barely slept because the road noise was so loud even with earplugs and people banging around and talking in the hallway, we went down for breakfast the next day to sit at a table which was dirty in what felt was a back room at 9:30am with mess on the floor the pastries were hard the coffee was awful, the cheese was curling in the edges, when we asked the guy at the full English station if we could have vegan sausages he told us we had to ask the waiting staff, by the time they arrived we got moved while eating breakfast to another part of the canteen to finish our breakfast which took so long because we had to wait so long for the sausages, all in rubbish.

Noisy and crowded. Chosen for lowish price, but so it turned out had everyone else. V. long, slow check-in.

Location and staff was nice, however overall score is highly affected by poor maintenance, outdated rooms and missing ventilation & no aircondition. I would avoid this hotel between May-September as the rooms get extremely warm. No sleep at all as you have to keep windows open, next to very busy roads.
