Very nice room over a pub.

Stayed for just one night at The Nags Head. Nice traditional pub serving Otter beer, if you are into cask ales. We stayed in the "Green Room" which has the balcony area & lovely views to the sea & surrounding countryside. It is room only basis as they do not serve breakfast. It is situated on a hill on the Axminister road as you head out of Lyme. An easy pleasant walk down the hill into Lyme, but keep the up hill return bit in mind if you don't do hills. We had breakfast at the near by Mariners Hotel, just a short walk up the hill. There is no pub car park, so if you want to avoid the £15.00 charge for all day parking then you need to find free road parking in the vicinity. There is a basic pub menu but we ate elsewhere, so can't comment on the food. Staff were efficient & friendly & we had a pleasant stay

Overnight visit

We visited Lyme Regis to attend a concert, The Nags head is first and foremost a pub with rooms, the room we were given was well decorated, exceptionally clean and comfortable, they provide tea, coffee, toiletries, towels etc to make an overnight stay comfortable. we were given a room on the roadside above the pub which during the day was quite noisy however nosie was not a problem overnight from either traffic or pub customers once the pub closed . The wifi was top notch. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Lyme Regis

Still a Great Local……

…..down for the weekend and in The Nags three nights running. Really good atmosphere, great staff and prices so reasonable. They do miss a trick by not lighting the fire on these cold evenings, however.

Friendly pub

Local friendly pub. Good choice of drinks. Basket good is available but we did not eat. Only regret is that we did not go earlier to this pub. Very good on prices

great getaway

well situated near the sea front, a lovely accomadation, so so clean my partner has her own cleaning company and she said that it was top notch so clean, Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere
