Comfortable interesting stay
Late arrival. Already checked google maps for walking route. Out of airport to the right on pathway. I had a torch. At roundabout used road and grass verge. First lane on left Crooked Stone Road I crossed over and kept on right side. No traffic. After the river bridge it's a long driveway flanked by stone walls, a num 24 on left wall. It took about 25mins I'm a 67yr female solo traveller I was asked to telephone on arrival which I did. Gentleman greeted me and showed me where to find the shared bathroom, (really good shower) and my room. Lovely comfortable double bed. Cosy room with tea and coffee but sadly no milk. Next morning I had a cooked breakfast that I requested with the gentleman the night before. It set me up for the day. I would have preferred toast rather than the pancake style. I walked back to the airport after breakfast. I used the 300/300a bus to get me to Grand Central Station. The first day £13:50 for a return. The following day I got a bit more savvy and asked on the bus for a day rambler at £10. I used this for getting to the Titanic Exhibition and a pub I found and return to the airport. 2nd day breakfast was the same. On my return again no milk but luckily a man was at his bedroom door, I took him to be someone that was working at the property on the land? I asked him where I might get milk. He went off for me and came back with a small milk jug which was perfect. The breakfast room was a table laid out in front of the garden window but to the left the room was cluttered with the owners belongings. I thought perhaps I was the only guest but on my leaving I saw a couple at the same table. Primrose was lovely and I found the stay warm and interesting. Find Ryan's bar and restaurant in Belfast not to far from the bus station. I walked it the first day and walked and used bus the second. It was soo good I had to go back. Two courses of lovely food for only £15:00.

Sadly, it’s a ‘no’ from me!
On arrival, the building looked old and run down. Wasn’t sure if I was in the right place. As soon as I stepped in, I got the awful smell, couldn’t identify, but I’d say urine belonging to animal/human?? Smell went through to bedroom also. The bathroom was beside my room but is also family bathroom! I was told there were no other guests. Went to bed early as I had an early flight. Was woken after 10 by someone going to shower and another guest arriving. Dogs barking/growling well into the night. On the hearth in bedroom there was a companion set, there were thick cobwebs hanging from it to the hearth which was very dusty. Dusting had been done around the objects on hearth! Not a pleasant experience overall! On the upside, I was able to leave my car there for duration of holiday and Primose took me to airport and collected me on my return

Stay clear absolutely filthy and she’s a scam
I booked here for 20th on July to stay for one night. I arrived and got to room within 5 minutes I emailed primrose so say I would not be staying as it’s not for me. The smell of the place was disgusting, it was filthy flies in the room. She came up to the room and I explained I couldn’t stay and she then told me to get out. Was not professional at all. We got our bags and left spoke to primrose about getting a refund and due to being booked through booking.com I had to contact them. I contacted them and she tried to say we didn’t even check in absolute lies she’s a scammer takes peoples money and doesn’t accept refunds knowing full well it’s a s**thole. So I asked to speak to a manager which then decided to give a partial 50% refund which was better than nothing which I received today over 4 weeks it took me. Do not book this place you will lose your money and it’s not fit to stay in. Absolute filth. She also blocked our number and didn’t reply to any messages or emails. I made a mistake that I’ll never make again. BEWARE

One with nature.
Loved this place for one main reason. The proximity to the airport and leaving the car. Primrose and Stephen most helpful. Great smell of the countryside and 19 wonderful dogs. I met Colin Barney and Goggles. And the bed oh my sooo comfortable. Unfortunately we had to forego breakfast... Very early flight. . I would highly recommend for convenience and if you like nature and animals. Thanks.

Filthy, with overpowering stench of animal urine
Absolutely filthy and disgusting ... By far the worst accomodation I've ever seen and so bad I refused to stay and booked somewhere else.
Finding the place is bad enough as it has no signs at all and you need to drive up a farm track to find it. Even then I thought it wasn't it. Crumbling stone entrance with gates hanging off and the front door was not much better. A pack of dogs were going berserk in the room next to the front door and appeared to be their room.
Nowhere on the booking description does it say that it's also a cattery and kennels but the business cards in the porch tell you it is as does the overpowering stench of animal urine. Everything in the porch was dirty, broken, or both and the barking dogs so loud. I still didn't believe I was on the right place as surely nobody would pay to stay here so I tried ringing and after a couple of attempts, Rosemary answered and told me my room was upstairs and she'll be back in an hour.
As soon as I pushed the filthy door open the stench was even worse, the hall had dog bowls and filth on the floor and the stairs carpet had it's own eco system. As it was late my choices were limited so I looked in the room, took one look at the dirty bed linen that looked like it had been slept in for a week and left to find another place to stay.
Anybody giving anywhere near a half decent review for this place must have no sense of smell or high on drugs. Disgusting.
