A hidden gem

We had a warm welcome from the owner Muriel, to this beautiful secluded chateaux sat in its own woodland. It has been superbly restored over the past few years, blending carefully chosen antiques with original features and more modern fittings. We stayed in the red suit, with a bath in the round tower(first floor, centre and right of photo). As we were the only guests Muriel gave us a tour of the ‘house’, which can also be hired complete as a gîte.
In the evening we took the opportunity of a candle lit dinner of cassoulet, the local speciality, prepared by our host. A well stocked continental breakfast, including cake, sourdough bread and cheeses was provided in the morning. A real taste of chateaux luxury and a most enjoyable experience.

A great place to stay

We rented one of the gites at Bel Aspect for the weekend, as we were attending a wedding close by. We had breakfast in the main chateau a couple of times, and a wonderful dinner the night we arrived. The owner Muriel could not be more helpful and made us very welcome. The accommodation has been carefully restored with some quirky retro pieces. The setting is quiet and rural, with lots of nice places to relax in the sun, and a good sized swimming pool.

In love with this chateau

This chateau is extremely tender, it looks like something out of a fairy tale. Muriel, owner of the Chateau prepares a dinner for her guests that I recommend to anyone who can stay there. An extremely cozy and refined atmosphere. The red room is without a doubt my biggest recommendation since it is spacious, comfortable and with the perfect combination of classic decoration with modern infrastructure.

a lovely hidden spot

We spent one night here as part of a bike trip. The other comments were accurate. It may not look special from the outside but we had a very welcoming host, unique rooms and an amazing dinner. There were 4 couples and the rooms varied in size, but every room was nicely furnished. Lovely views from the back patio, a nice swimming pool (very much appreciated after a day of riding). Breakfast was delicious and Muriel went out of her way to make us feel at home.

A relaxed and friendly place to stay

You'll receive a warm welcome from Muriel, who takes care to make sure that your stay is a happy one. We stayed in the B&B old Chateau and there are modern self-catering rooms as well. The pool is a modern infinity one and there is good lounging space beside it. The rooms in the Chateau are a good combination of the old and new and have something of the atmosphere of the time when the Chateau was in its prime.
