Comfortable room
Owner friendly and helpful. The room was nice, comfortable and warm. Lots of hot water in the shower. He helped me carry my bag up and gave me good local information on where a pharmacy was, groceries, and a restaurant. He said I looked tired and gave me a beer.

Hostile Hostal
The rooms are ok-ish in they are new, clean and lots of hot water. If a bit 1990s motel decor.
Reception is next door in the bar and very negative.
We are 1/2 board and we’re just given €20 and told to find somewhere to eat. I see a review saying the same thing from three years ago!
Breakfast will be in the bar!
This is not a great option and this town after 30k on the road.

Very pleasant and quiet hostel
The hostel is a bit out of the center of this small town, so it's quiet and you can have a good sleep after you walked the Camino all day. the service at the hotel is very well-mannered, and when we arrived they offered us a drink (Cola, water, beer). The room was big enough for the three of us, and comfortable, and breakfast was very good!

Bright and Comfortable
The hostal is at the far end of Triacastela, which means you’re out of town after 3 minutes of walking the following morning. With large, sunny windows and updated fixtures and furnishings, the hostal comes in far ahead of lodgings at the same price point that provide you with a room that opens on an airshaft. While the hostal is over a bar, like most bars in Spain, everyone has gone home by 11 pm, and usually earlier. After that it’s blissfully quiet.

Not my first choice but ok
A one night stop on the Camino, this was a reasonable place to stay. Room 11 is over the bar and noisy. The room didn't have a desk perhaps because it was a single room. Bathroom fan switched itself on every time I walked passed the door so I had to keep the bathroom door shut which was a nuisance. Bring ear plugs as the rooms are not well insulated and you can hear people outside as well. I went out for supper although I had booked half board as most of the pilgrims go to another restaurant nearby and I was joining them but breakfast was good quality and generous.
