Don't believe all the bad reviews!!!!

We rented this hotel for 2 nights without reading reviews because it fit our budget. After booking, I read all the negative reviews and was scared to death. We packed our own linens (reviews stated no towels, holes in sheets, etc....)candles/air freshener (because a/c smelled) batteries (because remotes didn't work) even looked into other hotels.
We are glad we stayed with this hotel. Two nights for $136.78 (tax included). The room was nice, quite, clean. Staff was friendly and nice. There is no continental breakfast but does have microwave/coffee. We had a refrigerator in our room. We asked for extra pillows. Was given to us with a smile and a "good night." It's a small hotel but we will definitely stay there again. I'm sorry I believed the other reviews. Their reviews made me doubt my decision and afraid of the hotel. We slept good, it was quite at night, no problems. I had to come back early threw the day but it was still quite. The room wasn't real big but actually was right size. It was close to Spencerport. Worth the money. It doesn't look like much on the outside, might seem small in the room to others...but perfect for us. I highly recommended this hotel. Do NOT believe all the negative reviews. Check it out for yourselves. And...enjoy the low price, the quite nights and good night's sleep. Only negative: bathroom was clean but needs updated. But all functional.

Disappointing

Admittedly, I chose this because of availability, proximity to the highway and price, but it was still disappointing. It was available, cheap and close, but it was kind of nasty- although the staff were pleasant. We drove around it trying to find a way in- it was an old fashioned motel but they've blocked off all the outer doors, so you have to use the one on the end of the building. There were three of us and when we asked for another towel, the worker opened another room to get one from there. On the way to get it, he was swatting something (bugs? cobwebs? he did stomp after swatting) from the ceiling. If you need the lowest price, this may be OK for you. It's certainly better than sleeping in the car.

I thought this only existed in horror movies!!!

The windows are broken, the hall smells, parking lot nothing but overgrown weeds, bugs in room, the room itself has so much air freshener to counter the smell of the hotel, bathroom shower not cleaned and those are the good points!!! DON'T!!

Red Carpet Inn / Vista Height Inn

I walked in this place because the other place nearby sold out. The sign outside is Vista Height Inn. So I did not know it actually is Red Carpet Inn (I read the review) before I paid. The receipt has both Red Carpet Inn and Vista Height Inn printed on it.
I have stayed many hotels/motels in my life, this was the worst one: dirty carpet, leaking faucet, rusty metal fixtures, missing cover for bathroom light fixture, two of four pillows without cases, multi holes on sheets, no wifi, no breakfast. You do get one shower towel and one wash cloth.
The charge for above was $80.79/night included tax.

dont go to Henrietta New York Red Carpet Inn

we stayed at the red carpet inn in henrietta new york only because everyone else was booked solid.The pics on line show an amazing place with awards.This place the outside door was broken so it didnt lock also with filthy windows.Going down the hall was so dirty and the walls needed painting.The room has 1960 fixtures with a moldy tub.The bedding was clean but full of holes---maybe from smokers who knows.I dont know if there was a breakfast but no way i was sticking around to find out. This was $81 down the drain.The outside had a wooden board in place of a window and needed a good paint job.The drive was cracked and full of weeds.There were no lights so you cannot see what you are getting into if it is late.Never again for me.
