Dropping one star because there were no forks. This type of lodging is chosen for a reason and not having forks defeats the purpose.

There is no air conditioning in the room. Unbelievable. We stayed at the bottom floor, since outside of the hotel doesn’t seem so safe, we couldn’t even open the windows. Such a nightmare with a 2 months old baby. The room was full of dust which made impossible to breathe. Do not recommend this hotel.

Zero air conditioning so sleeping was very uncomfortable due to it being so hot and humid in the room, it came with a small fan but that didn’t do it at night. Bedsheets had some spots on it but bed was comfortable. Very pretty apartment room and good location just outside the city centre.
Very thin walls so it was very loud outside
Other than that it was good

1/5 – Warning for extremely poor service at reception

I strongly advise against staying at Järfälla Hotell & Konferens after the service I received at reception today, June 14, 2026. This was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had in a hotel in Sweden.
The receptionist who worked today treated me in an unprofessional, overbearing and arrogant way. When I asked about breakfast, I got attitude back, as if I was a problem because the person themselves was stressed or had not had time for their work. It is not acceptable for guests to have to face irritation, cockiness and poor treatment when asking questions.
It doesn't matter what the room or the rest of the hotel is like if the first contact with the staff is this bad. Reception is the face of the hotel, and in this case the reception ruined the whole experience.
I would not have chosen to stay here again even if the stay was free. I really want to warn other guests: choose another hotel if you expect basic respect, service and a professional treatment. Management should take this very seriously and review how the reception staffs and treats its guests.

I felt that the hotel manager was aware of the start of the construction project at the time of my complaint.

After two weeks of accommodation, a major construction project began at the back of the hotel with very disturbing noise from chainsaws and excavators that began at 6:30. It emerged from my complaints that it would be drilled into the rock and then blown up.
I checked out immediately on May 26th.
