Couldn't ask for better accommodation

My friend & I enjoyed a lovely 4 night stay recently and were really impressed by the location, facilties & the staff. Geraldine couldn't have made us more welcome and was an interesting and friendly host. The breakfast was delicious and our room had everything we needed. Woukd definitely stay here again.

Somerset House Grange over Sands

Wanted to explore The Lakes and some of the beautiful Cumbrian countryside. Somerset House was the perfect base due to its central location. Geraldine was a wonderful hostess and the accommodation was very comfortable. The breakfast offer was superb with all tastes catered for. Definitely recommend if you are traveling to Cumbria.

We had a lovely time staying at the Somerset House. Geraldine was fantastic at looking after the guests, she even volunteered to give us a lift from the train station! The accommodation was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was lovely. The location is brilliant too, it's right by a few great cafes and shops, train station only 10-15 mins walk away. Highly recommend anyone to come to Grange and stay there!

Welcoming B&B in Grange-over-Sands

The hosts provided a first class service when I realised that I needed flexible booking-in times just the day before my trip, they could not have been nicer about it - in fact they were helpful throughout the entire stay. This is not a modern B&B in that it does not have USB plug sockets and some of the fittings are older but it felt very fresh, supremely clean and tidy, and everything worked well - including the fan provided because we had a spell of hot weather. Good choice for breakfast (included) and in room facilities covered everything needed. Would go back in a heartbeat - proper old-fashioned value and service from a lovely B&B, easy to see why they have so many 5* reviews.
