Hotel Denit excellent!!!!
Excellent experience, the service from Joan at the front desk was impeccable. He helped us with the places, with the room, and with all our questions, always ready for whatever we needed; he is very kind and we will undoubtedly return there another time when we visit Barcelona again.

Terrible experience
If you like to be given a room upgrade than Enrique the manager walks by hears the conversation & declines your upgrade after your assigned your room than this hotels for you!!
If you like mould, this Hotel is for you!!!
If your happy to ask for cleaning products to scrub walls & windows to remove the mould late at night because your room stinks of mould & you don’t want to smell like mould than this hotel is for you!!
If you like curtains that are stained from mould than this hotels for you!!
If you get promised you'll be moved to another room the next morning then once again Enrique openly says No but he'll arrange, to clean your room, than this hotel's for you!!
If you walk into your room and see a man scrubbing the walls to remove the mould with chemicals with your opened luggage bags directly underneath the spraying and your underwear in full view than this hotels for you!!
If you like cleaner's making loud moving funiture noise & talking loud whilst cleaning other rooms at 8am while you sleep & you ask them to be quiter and they ignore you than this hotels for you!!
If you like drug junkies hanging out infront of the hotel at night this hotels for you!!
If you like asking staff to lock the main entrance door at night so you feel safe, than this hotels for you!!
If you like the idea of missing out on daily breakfasts because you booked directly through Agoda & not directly with the Hotel this hotels for you!!!
I requested a refrigerator be placed in my room and Enrique arranged it but then to have the cleaners turn the the power off after they cleaned your room than this hotels for you!!
If you like to have staff book you a taxi with 2 days notice at a specific time & no taxi shows up than this hotels for you!!!
I regret booking this hotel!!!

Perfect location for exploring the city. All buses, trains, taxis are within walking distance.
Staff were helpful and even allowed us to gain entry to our room early as it was ready.
The rooms are compact but clean which is the main thing. The bathroom is behind an obscured glass screen which at first we were worried you'd be able to see through but you couldn't, the only thing missing was a lock!!
We had a lovely stay and would consider returning!

The hotel is nice and the room was spacious. However the mattress and the pillows were pretty uncomfortable.

Excellent hotel
I traveled with my family; from the moment we arrived, everyone at the hotel was kind and attentive to us. From the lobby, it is a clean, fresh, and very well-maintained place. The rooms are undoubtedly very beautiful, comfortable, and functional. We ordered breakfast at the hotel, they offered us a delicious buffet, and the restaurant area is very friendly. The hotel's location is incredible since everything is close to us, from restaurants and bars to the Paseo de Gracia, the Gothic Quarter, and the beach.
