Very good

The rooms are perfect and spacious, the atmosphere is excellent, but the amenities are average (one elevator for eight floors of rooms). Plus, they charge you for drinks even if you have dinner included. The location is good, and the staff is often friendly. The view of the sea is perfect. The pool, however, is not very big and is often crowded.

Not recommended for solo travelers

My stay at this hotel was unfortunately a big disappointment and in no way met the expectations for a hotel.
Upon my arrival, the bathroom in my room was already in a completely unacceptable hygienic condition. There was foreign fecal matter in the toilet, and there were also foreign hairs as well as makeup residue in the bathroom. The bathroom was so dirty that I could not use it at all at first.
For the first three days, I reported the condition daily at the front desk and asked each time for a cleaning person to be sent. I was repeatedly promised that someone would take care of it. Despite these promises, no one showed up.
That meant for me that I could neither shower nor use the toilet in my room for three days. Instead, I had to use the toilet on the ground floor of the hotel each time or use the bathroom of another hotel guest whom I had met during my stay. For a hotel, such a condition is absolutely unacceptable.
Since nothing changed even after several complaints, I was finally left with no choice but to remove the foreign feces, hair, and the rest of the dirt myself so that I could use the bathroom at all. It should go without saying that hotel guests do not have to clean up the remnants of previous guests themselves.
Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. After eleven days, I still had the same bed linens and the same towels as on the day of arrival. Only after I had already asked at the reception for a change for the fourth time did a cleaning person appear the next morning. They pounded loudly on my door while I was still sleeping. Because of their demeanor, I only opened the door to accept fresh towels. However, the bed linens were still not changed. No one showed up the next day either.
As compensation, the hotel offered me seven days of free breakfast. However, I could hardly make use of this offer. After two breakfasts, I gave up on it because the dining room did not make a clean impression either. There was hair on the floor and around the food being offered. Additionally, I found the behavior of some staff members to be unpleasant. Dishes were handled and thrown around loudly, which created a hectic and partially aggressive atmosphere. I did not feel comfortable there and therefore skipped breakfast.
It was particularly disappointing for me that, as a solo female traveler, I felt completely left alone with my complaints. Although I asked for help multiple times, I never had the impression that my problems were taken seriously or that anyone was truly trying to find a solution.
Ultimately, the hygienic deficiencies, the lack of service, and the handling of my complaints were so severe that my vacation no longer had any recreational value. For this reason, I decided to cut my trip short.
I am writing this review so that other travelers know what they might expect. Everyone can make mistakes sometimes – what is decisive, however, is how complaints are handled. In my case, repeated notifications were ignored over the course of days. Based on my experiences, I unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.

Nachdem Sie uns über die Sauberkeit informiert hatten, wurde von unserem Housekeeping-Team mehrfach versucht, die Reinigung Ihres Apartments durchzuführen. Nach unseren Aufzeichnungen wurde unseren Mitarbeiterinnen bei mehreren Gelegenheiten jedoch kein Zutritt gewährt. Als Sie anschließend erneut an der Rezeption Ihre Unzufriedenheit mit der Reinigung äußerten, wurde die Reinigung selbstverständlich durchgeführt.
Auch bezüglich der Bettwäsche wurde ein Wechsel angeboten. Bei einem der Besuche unserer Mitarbeiterin wurden lediglich frische Handtücher gewünscht, sodass der vollständige Wechsel zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht erfolgen konnte.
Wir möchten außerdem klarstellen, dass wir Ihre Beschwerden während Ihres Aufenthalts nicht unbeachtet gelassen haben. Unsere Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren über Ihre Anliegen informiert und haben versucht, entsprechende Lösungen zu finden. Als Zeichen unseres Bedauerns wurde Ihnen zudem ein kostenloses Frühstück für sieben Tage angeboten.
Ihre Anmerkungen zur Sauberkeit im Restaurant und zur Atmosphäre während des Frühstücks nehmen wir ebenfalls ernst und werden diese mit dem zuständigen Team überprüfen.
Wir bedauern, dass Sie sich trotz unserer Bemühungen nicht ausreichend betreut gefühlt haben und dass Ihre Erfahrungen letztlich dazu geführt haben, dass Sie Ihren Aufenthalt vorzeitig beendet haben. Auch wenn unsere Aufzeichnungen einzelne Punkte anders darstellen, respektieren wir selbstverständlich Ihre persönliche Wahrnehmung und danken Ihnen für Ihr Feedback.

Terrible

This place is horrible. Terrible cleanliness. The pool is literally disgusting. The only good thing is the two girls at the front desk who try to please you so that you obviously don't leave. Because the truth is that this is pathetic. We are NOT coming back, no way. And I have been a Servatur customer for a long time. Specifically at Puerto Azul in Gran Canaria. THEY DON'T COME BACK

Renovated

The hotel is fine, renovated, but with some details of its age. The pool is small, the staff is very attentive and pleasant. Depending on the apartment you have views ....they put us on the first floor and the views were the cars that passed by the same street as the hotel.

A solid 8.5/10!
Great location, shopping centre in front of hotel with restaurants, bars and shops. 2 minutes walk away is more shops, restaurants and bars as well as the beach.
Definitely recommend Fuertapizza and Guayarmina for food and Oasis bar (3/4 minute walk away) for drinks.
Takes 2 hours by shuttle transfer probably an hour and 15 minutes by private transfer.
The room was really nice! Cleaning could've been a tad better but that's just personal preference.
The beds were SOOOOO COMFY! Easily one of the best beds I've slept in whilst on holiday.
Large living room with dining table, full kitchen, sofa and TV.
The balcony is large with amazing sea views (we were apartment 425)
The pool was lovely, very relaxing, with good music in the back round and not too loud.
Plenty of sun beds, lifeguard on duty and a pool bar with plenty of tables, chairs, lots of food and drink options and also had a jacuzzi (which we didn't know was there until the day we left)
The barman Papa was one of our highlights! Very friendly, funny and welcoming! Makes a great cocktail!
The downside was the apartment walls were VERY thin.. we could hear EVERYTHING! Our neighbours to the right of us were very loud and felt the need to shout about everything.
Great value for the money we paid and would happily stay here again. Great hotel, great amenities, lovely staff, good atmosphere.
Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for a relaxed chilled stay.
