Great dinner! 10/10

We ate at Julia's rooftop and I would really recommend it!! The food and drinks were very good and the staff were very friendly. But the best thing was the view!! You look over the whole city and the sea!!! They also play the football games in the World Cup there if you want to see them.
Tip! Go there until sunset for the nicest view

Sarandë Staycation

With over 600 hotels in Sarandë, it’s the little details that keep me coming back — and my next staycation at @hotel_julia is already booked. “
LOCATION
Ideal. A short walk down the hill to the main beach, Club Orange (iykyk ) and central to everything — but not smack dab in the center where the crowds can feel overwhelming. It’s surprisingly quiet, though I will say I’m visiting off-season, so if you’re coming in peak summer, you may want a higher-floor room… unless dancing til 4am is your thing
THE ROOM
I booked a standard double/twin for €42.01 (tax & fees included) and was upgraded for FREE to a deluxe double with a private patio and sea view — it may or may not have been the Albanian residency card! And yes, breakfast is included — a full buffet served at the rooftop bar/restaurant. My highlight? The petulla — the traditional Albanian pancake made fresh in the kitchen the old-fashioned way. I made a point of telling the chef how incredible it was and got the biggest smile and a “faleminderit” in return. ❤️
THE VIBE
Being off-season meant that except for a few guests, I pretty much had the whole place to myself — and honestly that’s the magic of a staycation! While most guests are tourists rushing off to see the sights, I get to stay back and enjoy the hotel to the fullest. No guilt, no FOMO.
⭐ SERVICE
Impeccable from check-in to check-out — everything we needed was provided without us even having to ask twice. And a special shoutout to Wendy for her service with the friendliest smile — you made this stay even more special!
✨ THE SMALL TOUCHES (that are actually priceless)
The hotel is spotless and smells like fresh, clean laundry
A fold-away clothes hanger on the balcony for wet items — functional AND cute
Minimal but adorable décor — think cottage white chairs, wood tables, and dreamy lounge chairs by the pool
The bed is HEAVENLY. And I say that as a certified bed snob
I slept with the balcony door open all night — perfect weather, zero mosquitos (yet!) and fell asleep to the most soothing birdsong from the swallows

It’s was in a great location for us and we were very happy with the service not to mention the beautiful views on the rooftop especially at breakfast time.

Satisfactory

Julia is a lovely hotel, which has its location among its strengths; in fact, it is located on the edge of the chaotic Saranda waterfront, allowing its guests not to be constantly exposed to every form of noise. Also noteworthy is the rooftop where it is possible to have breakfast, dinner, or simply have a drink while enjoying the view of the city and the bay. The only remark concerns the bathroom: the knob for hanging towels fell off and the door handle explicitly declared that it had taken the same path.

Wonderful

We stayed in August, the suite was magnificent, clean and cared for in every detail, excellent breakfast on the terrace and then unfortunately on the last day we discovered the goodness of the restaurant, Laura was very kind but like her all the staff in the property fantastic and kind. If we were to return to Saranda I would not think twice about booking Hotel Julia
