Perfect accommodation in Gjirokaster. Maradona's hospitality is 10/10.
Maradona is a spectacular host. From the beginning, everything is made easy, starting even before arrival via WhatsApp with all the directions (including a video) to get to the accommodation. He greets you in person and gives you all the tips for visiting not only Gjirokaster, but also the surrounding areas. Following your advice, we modified our plans and visited the castle at sunset, and it was a great success. The family suite is very cozy and has the charm of a traditional home. Although it may seem far from the center, a tunnel under the castle leaves you in the bazaar in five minutes, and the silence at night is appreciated for resting. Spectacular breakfast, prepared on the spot and very complete. It also has a free taxi service to take you to or pick you up from the center at night. Also, they park your car and have it ready for you when you leave. It was a great success. Thank you very much for everything, Maradona.

A host who welcomes you with the utmost kindness

Thank you Maradona for your warm welcome and good humor! We highly recommend this small family hotel for a stopover in Gjirokaster. Maradona will be happy to advise you on activities and restaurants, plus he will drop you off and pick you up for FREE at the doors of the Bazaar. It was greatly appreciated, even though it is not very far on foot. Finally, the homemade breakfast is very good.

Very pleasant stay

A very pleasant stay with a very welcoming and attentive host.
It offers its guests a free taxi service to and from the city center.
The bus terminal is just down the hotel.The rooms are spacious and clean.
I highly recommend

Great experience

Superb local hotel, with impeccable Service: from start to finish Maradonna the manager bends over backwards for you. Taxi Service (free!!!) to take you to the old town (otherwise it's a 15 minute walk ), delicious breakfast , Valet Service to put it in its parking lot, information from local restaurants, etc.
In addition the room was superb and very clean!!
Just to know that the little one already is only from 8am to 9am, and check out at 10am max. We it suited us perfectly maybe not for certain

Quiet and with very helpful owner

Staying at the Hotel Bebej Tradicional is almost a must to appreciate the helpfulness and affability of the owner, as well as to experience a breathtaking ride through the alleys of the new part of Gjirokastër.
But let’s start from the beginning: the hotel is not located in the tourist and historical area of Gjirokastër; to reach it you have to walk about 10-15 minutes through a long pedestrian tunnel that digs the mountain.
The owner offers to drive you to the entrance of the tunnel, and this is the most fun and adrenaline-filled part of the stay, because the streets are narrow and his car large.
The hotel is very simple, but the rooms are large and comfortable, and the breakfast is rich and tasty.
