Stayed at Merka guesthouse on holiday with the family in the July of 2022.
First of all the owner is cheater!!! My reservation was our room had to have triple room with 55 square meters, the provided room has an area of no more than 27 square meters, since a room with sides of 3.8 meter to 5.8 meter including all internal walls and a balcony of 2.7 meters by 1.6, cannot have an area of 55 square meters
Secondly, the room must have 2 beds: 1 single bed and 1 double bed. In fact, my room has 1 double bed and a sofa that is comfortable to sit on, but not comfortable to sleep on.
In connection all of this I asked the owner to provide a room according to my reservation. On my request he replied following:" If you didn’t like the room, You could tell us in the beginning
The room is exactly as shown in the photos except for a little technicality of not saying a sofa bed bit a single bed. Room is exactly 55 m2. If you don’t pay the full amount, I will contact bookingcom telling everything. We don’t like customers who want to avoid paying so please pay the first night and we ask you to kindly leave" and then he canceled my 8 nights reservation and report to booking com about our supposedly not checking into the hotel
At the end we stayed 5 nights and leave disappointed with the service.
Since all 6 rooms on the second floor have almost the same area, do not believe the supposedly described 55-meter rooms.
The toilet (it is also and shower place) has very tiny area
The second inconvenience, it is real small kitchen area, it will be a hard to cook something more serious than omelet especially if take into consideration frying pan in very poor condition with a curved bottom. Please do not forget the area around Merka Guest house is a villa zone where you will not find any restaurants, cafes, or supermarket. The closest restaurant is on 2km. closest supermarket in Ksamil 3 km away.
On other side of medal is a beautiful view from balcony of the room to the lake, amazing mirror beach in 15 min walks and quiet surround
