For one night

Arriving during Ramadan, it would be nice to clarify at the reservation that breakfast is not available (and yet the room rate is the same). The hotel is clean but the mattresses are really too hard. The price is correct.

To be avoided!
We had booked two rooms nearly two weeks before our arrival. A few days later, we received a strange message asking us to make a payment to a bank account. Suspicious, we refused and called the reception directly, which assured us that payment could be made upon our arrival.
What a surprise upon arrival: the hotel claims that no reservation exists in our name, despite presenting our Booking.com confirmation. As if by coincidence, we were immediately offered other rooms, but at a significantly higher rate.
We refused this practice, which we consider unacceptable. The most outrageous part is that the reservations were marked as non-cancellable and that, since this incident, the hotel is still trying to charge our credit card. We were forced to block it.
Between the mysterious disappearance of our reservation, the attempt to charge us more on-site, and the questionable charges, this experience leaves a very bad impression.
I strongly advise against this establishment.

OK Except Breakfast

I stayed here for one night.
Friendly and efficient receptionist. Decent free WIFI. Rooms small and dark due to choice of linens and fixtures but clean. Dated furniture makes room seem a bit run down. Walls thin and kept awake by my neighbor’s TV and by the traffic as my room overlooked a busy street. Bring earplugs.
Restaurant has a decent menu serving ok food and they are quick. The only problem is the breakfast. I attach a picture. Apparently there were also yoghurts but if you didn’t get there at 7 AM you are out of luck.

Comfortable, centrally located.

Our room was comfortable and large, with a/c, and the bathroom had a great shower. The furnishings are a bit dated and worn, but there was plenty of wardrobe space and a good desk. The room had one very large double and two small beds, all of which were good for sleeping. The wi-fi did not reach the large bed space, but using the phone as a hotspot connected to the wi-fi worked well enough. The location is near to central sites. The staff is nice. Unfortunately the breakfast was terrible. It was only coffee, juice, baguettes, croissants and a sweet. There wasn't even any tea.

Very good hotel

We stayed a couple of nights in the hotel. The price was very acceptable (5500 dzd for a double room). It was clean, calm, nice and very close to the center of Tlemcen. We were really satisfied. I suggest this hotel to anyone in visit to Tlemcen.
