Happy

Spacious apartment with everything you need. The only one but it's in the cleaning, fair. The floor I don't know how much they scrub it, but the sole of my day-old sneakers was full of dirt. Otherwise, well, it covers expectations for a weekend

Convenient, value-for-money and lovely staff.

(+) Located 15min on foot from Andorra la Vella historic center and a 5min walk from Caldea Spa.
(+) Spacious and warm apartment, ideal for a long stay in Andorra. Convenient bathroom and water always hot.
(+) Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, kettle, microwave, coffee machine and complimentary coffee capsules and tea.
(+) Reception staff is very efficient, flexible and helpful. Reception is not available 24/7, but since there was no curfew we didn't really mind.
(-) Ambience: The atmosphere inside the apartment felt too dry (even dusty) when breathing. Like it was left closed for too long, or like it wasn’t properly and frequently aired. Mattress too hard for our liking.
(-) Parking (garage, extra charge): Even though it had a large entrance, the space inside was tight for a long vehicle like ours. We managed to navigate and park it, but it required skills.

Great experience . Well worth staying there

Very central hotel.lovely people who work there. Bedroom spacious with comfortably beds.2 more beds in sitting room.kitchen with dining table and chairs. Bathroom very clean. Overall i would recommend this place. Car parking also available.

Positive points: Good location, really close to Caldea Good size and functional accommodation.
Negative points: No air conditioning, we were hot! Overbooking problem, I received a message before my departure asking me if I wanted to change my reservation or not! Knowing that he could not give me the accommodation reserved following an overbooking. So where I would take smaller accommodation otherwise I would cancel my reservation. It’s very cavalier having booked entry to Caldea etc. I had no choice but to take the smaller accommodation. The second evening we had another accommodation (the one initially planned) to the north so less hot but this time there were nauseating upwellings in the bathroom. Bedding lasts for us! Pay attention to cleanliness, we found hair in the bed, the toilet and the shower. For a room costing over 100 euros I find it average!

Good but a couple of changes would make it great

The hotel is well located a few mins walk from the main shopping and town centre. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and reasonably appointed. We made use of the sofa beds for our kids which were fine but the beds in the main bedroom were a problem; very noisy metal frames which tend to wake you when you move. Also the pillows are entirely unsuitable for adults and very firm.
The heating is manageable if you turn off the radiators in the bedrooms else way too hot. As you leave the elevator to the rooms (on 4th floor) the corridor really smells of smoke but our rooms were non smoking the other side - a bit unpleasant.
But one of the biggest issues if you want to stay connected is the Internet - only wifi transceivers on alternate odd floors and reception on 4th was dreadful; unstable and having to re-log in every single time makes it practically unusable. And even when you are connected for the minute or so before it drops it is really slow. We gave up mostly way too hard and can so easily be fixed with additional wifi stations and a different ISP/log-on management supplier. As it stands quite customer unfriendly.
