We stayed in 2 opportunities. Super recommended!

We've been a couple of times. Very nice the inn. Well located and with place to park vehicles. Excellent service, comfortable and clean rooms. Good breakfast. Excellent price/quality ratio. Recommended

Simple but neat hotel

The hotel is well located in the center of Cachi and close to the river and mountains, but the view can not be appreciated much from some rooms by the trees. All the staff are friendly and solve any issues that may be presented. . You would gain a lot if you improve the decoration and setting and bring it more in line with something rustic from the north, because aesthetically it is decorated with tiles and furniture that make it somewhat old-fashioned. Breakfast is simple. It's for a night or if you need to go to sleep alone.

Really loved this place

We booked this last minute having changed our travel plans and we were so happy we did. Firstly, Cachi is a gorgeous little town, geared to tourism there is no doubt but done a very low key and appealing way. Thereafter this hotel was just lovely. We had been travelling around Argentina for almost two weeks and generally looking to book accommodation in the $40-50 USD bracket, or less. We had had some distinctly average places so coming here was like, wow! The place is a colonial-style traditional hotel and we booked a superior double room at 45USD which was great; spacious, attractive, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The double bed was huge and there was a sitting area with sofa that was as big again as the sleeping area. The external wall was fully glazed onto a massive balcony. The accommodation was beautifully peaceful and was a world away from some of the places we had experienced elsewhere, in Patagonia and Salta city. Breakfast was “continental” and fairly limited with cereal, toast and a selection of pastries. There is a small private car park behind the hotel plus lots of street parking just outside. The hotel is centrally located, just 2 or 3 minutes walk to the plaza. WiFi is free and reliable. The only downside we experienced was that there were a lot of flies around and if you opened the door to the balcony they got into the room.

Good value for money

This small hotel was perfect for an overnight stop in Cachi where we were just looking for a bed for the night and a safe place to park the car and didn’t want to spend too much. The hotel is just off the main plaza and walking distance to various restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and clean. There was plenty of hot water and the WiFi was very good. Breakfast was ok. We could park inside the property though there’s only room for 3-4 vehicles so check ahead. We paid ARS 800 for a double room which was good value. I would stay there again.
NB There seem to be two Don Arturos. Their business card shows 2 locations, one called Don Arturo Hostería and the other Don Arturo Hospedaje. We stayed at the Hosteria which is in on the corner of Aranda and Zorrilla streets. The hotel is relatively new and doesn’t match some of the older reviews in English which must be of the other location. I didn’t recognise some of the photos of a terrace with river views. Don’t be put off by the old reviews (several years ago) - this place is not luxurious or charming but is totally fine if you’re looking for a vakue choice in a central location.
We arrived in Cachi without a reservation and were pointed to the tourist office on the plaza who were very helpful. They had a list of hotels with prices and even called for us to book. Great service!

has potential but needs improvement

experience similar to other recent reviews: rooms cramped and somewhat dilapidated expecially bathroom, frankly disgusting. However, NO HOT WATER during our stay, so use kept to a minimum. Breakfast insufficient, but nice view. Impression hotel has seen better days and urgently needs (re-)investment.
