Very nice boutique hotel with a privileged location.

It has a very original decor, inspired by the French Caribbean colonies. They offer a very good breakfast. The service from Santiago and Javier was very attentive. You have to ask for a room with a garden view, since there are also a couple of rooms with a window to the hallway that are darker. There are two cats that get into everything, which is problematic for those who are allergic to cat hair. It is striking that in an establishment where details are taken care of so much, such as using embroidered tablecloths, silver salt shakers, fine china, etc., they have not repaired the blisters in the plaster of some bathrooms, or the (dangerous) hole in the floor of the garden deck.

Very picturesque.

The rooms are beautiful and the hotel is super picturesque. Just a few maintenance details that lower its rating, like the dangerously broken shower grate. The service is excellent and the patio is beautiful.

​⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Unique Gem in Salta – A Haven for Animal Lovers!

​I don’t normally write reviews, but I will absolutely go out of my way to support an exceptional business like Villa Vicuña Boutique Hotel. If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated place to stay in Salta, look no further.
​The hotel is perfectly situated in the vibrant and extremely safe old city center. It is within easy walking distance to the main plaza, excellent restaurants, and local shops, making it an ideal base for exploring.
​The Highlight: Garfield & Pipo
​While the decor and location are stunning, the absolute highlight of our stay was meeting Garfield and Pipo, the two resident cats who are a beloved part of the hotel community. As someone who adores animals, any business that houses, loves, and respects animals has my complete support and future business.
​We have three kitties and two dogs at home and were missing them terribly during our vacation. Having the opportunity to enjoy Garfield and Pipo for a few days was incredibly comforting and emotionally supportive for our souls. The hotel beautifully allows the kitties to roam the common spaces and even stay in the rooms with guests if invited. We were absolutely delighted—Pipo happily slept in my daughters' room, while Garfield cuddled up with my husband and me in ours.

​A massive thank you to Solana, who was absolutely amazing, friendly, helpful, and deeply professional. While one gentleman at the property wasn’t the friendliest, Solana completely made up for it with her outstanding attention to detail and warm hospitality.
​Villa Vicuña is a truly unique, beautiful gem. We highly recommend it for your next stay in Salta.

Sooooo charming

There are many boutique hotels everywhere nowadays, but this place is really out of the league. You feel like visiting good friends in their beautiful house filled with objects with a soul, and they go out of their skin to make your stay unforgettable. Every single detail, piece of furniture, decoration wants to tell you a story. The staff always smiling, super attentive without being intrusive. I wouldn’t change or add anything. Plus a perfect location on one of the most beautiful streets of the center . A jewel!
