Beautiful

The place is very beautiful, peaceful surrounded by nature and within a few minutes walk you can reach the center.
I stayed in a room, for the price it was very good and it also included breakfast... basic but sufficient. Very friendly staff. It has a common kitchen and refrigerator to use.

Peaceful and comfortable

The hostel and campsite is located just out of town, but not far from the bus terminal (10 minutes walk, more or less). Inside the hostel, there is a homely feel. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the entire place is very, very clean.
The property itself is beautiful. Although if you're here, you probably want to hike, the is a nice retreat at the end of the day, and perfect for days you want to take a rest. For camping, there is plenty of space.
Breakfast in the morning is healthy and filling - just the way to start the day.
Highly recommend, and would love to come back (as so many others seem to do)

Good for a certain type of visit

El Rincon is about 1km outside of town and is surrounded by nature. It's a great escape if that's what you're looking for. We had a private room with shared bath in a different building than the main one, and it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was serviceable with lots of hot water. The kitchen is outdoors, which could be a problem if it's really buggy, but it was fine for us. It was also a bit basic but had a BBQ. The breakfast had a lot of homemade dulce de leches, jams, and almond butter, but the price is not included in the stay. The pool looked very inviting but it wasn't warm enough when we were there. They do have wifi in the main building, but it really seems more like a place to get away from technology and real life, etc. If that's what you're looking for, then El Rincon is the place for you!
The reason I'm not giving more stars is bc when we were there, a group of about a hundred schoolchildren were also there--but we weren't notified of this and it wasn't exactly very relaxing to have them running and screaming around.

Beautiful and maybe too big

The place is really nice, in the forest, near to the station, with the swimming pool, tennis table, chess... The owner is a dutch guy John who is always there and working hard. I don't how is the place not during the high season but in january there were so many people, plus people from the camping. Mixed rooms for girls are ok, still 16 beds, hopefully there were about 10 girls when i stayed and 1 night i had in the room for 4 people. But my boyfriend stayed in the room for boys and it looked like a concentration camp and it was hot, i don't know how many beds were there but it looked like 20. So maybe it's better to stay in private rooms here.

Increíble experiencia!!!!

No solo la gente fue amable y predispuesta, sino que el lugar se encontraba en grandes condiciones. Nos dejaron una habitación privada con sábanas limpias. Limpiaban todos los días la habitación (aunque el baño tenía algunas telas de araña), el desayuno era increíble y todo casero. Nos atendieron muy bien, nos prestaron sábanas para tapar los autos por granizo. Hay juegos infantiles, la pileta es grande y cómoda. Si uno se quiere cocinar, no hay tantos utencillos. La heladera común estaba desorganizada y poco espaciada (no alcanzaba para la cantidad de gente que reciben). Definitivamente volveríamos!!!!!!!
