We stayed one night in a king bed standard room. It was large with plenty of space to lay out our belongings. Bed was comfortable and quiet at night so we slept well. Had dinner on Sunday evening and the food was reasonably priced and delicious. Right on the river so the location was excellent and we had a lovely stroll along the bank. In the morning we had breakfast at the cafe opposite the hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our time and we want to come back soon for a longer visit.

Had a wonderful relaxing stay in a room overlooking the river. The welcome was friendly, clear instructions for getting to our room, and encouragement to use the ‘mini bar’ items as they are included in the room cost.
The room was comfortable, clean, and well kept. Also fairly new, I think. The view across the road to the river was delightful.
We ate at the bistro (booking highly recommended) which provided a very nice meal. Really appreciated the 1/2 size servings offered - just the right size for us.
All through our stay, staff were pleasant and helpful. Would be glad to come again some time.

Great place to stay

We took advantage of a Travel Auction deal and stayed for 3 nights in a Villa with a riverfront view (paying an additional amount for the upgrade). Breakfast was provided which is always a bonus and was very tasty with great choices of something cooked or something lighter. Room was modern and spacious with a great bathroom and shower. I really liked that a lightweight blanket was availabe to use which is closer to our usual sleeping arrangement. Everybody was friendly and very helpful and we hope to return.
