Great weekend get-away

We stayed here for a night after a full day of surfing. It's a lovely little place at a good price. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are just what we were after, warm shower, bed and cup of tea facilities. We stayed during the winter season so no pool access and few things lying around, but we don't mind that it's the winter/low season. Would love to come back during the summer months.

A satisfactory place to sleep.

No, Koala Park is not resort-style accommodation but it is a convenient, simple and clean (more motor inn style) place to sleep. They were still renovating when we stayed and you could see the effort being made to upgrade and add a bit more style. We were going to see the penguins and not wanting to spend a fortune on a fancy hotel room. A good, cheap option. Being next to Amazing Things and a local brewery meant we snuck in a fun game of putt putt and a cheeky beer.

Run Down

Absolutely lovely staff and so many animals live on site for little ones to enjoy. We enjoyed our night on the island but will not stay here again despite being next door to a fantastic brewry, koala park and Amaze rope park.
Rooms were not updated since the old style 'breakfast through the hole in the wall' days. The little latch hole in the wall was still there! I'm sure its got the same carpet from back then too. Room was FREEZING (colder than outside in winter when we arrived) and we were missing 1 towel, milk for coffee & hairdryer. Rooms don't offer DVD players either! No standards were kept up including the general grounds, facilities and rooms. Far too pricey $130 on Sat night school holidays. Would have been happy to pay $80.

great holiday

My family loved there time at the park..Rooms were fantastic for a big family..The wild life around the park was great for city slickers..as for the staff they were superb and always cheer full when asked questions..very close to the race track and Cowes..
will be staying there again next year..

Great for what we needed

Perfect place to stay for 13 blokes doing two days at Phillip Island race track.
Initially a bit concerned having read a few of the less complementary reviews.
From arrival to departure the owners were great. Even dropped us at a place for dinner one night to celebrate the two successful days of riding and then picked us all up at the end of the night. Outstanding service.
No problems with our rooms, our linen, or cleanliness.
Only a few kilometres from track and town. Perfect for our needs. Lots of parking for bikes and trailers and four wheel drives.
