Great affordable accommodation in Cronulla

Stayed here a couple of times now and it is a clean convenient and affordable place to stay. Nice rooms and good breakfast and dinner options provided free of charge. Some of the other reviewers are simply expecting high hotel standards at what is clearly a guesthouse. Do not be put off.

Bed bugs

My room number 9 has bed bugs, I had to leave and get another hotel after receiving almost 100 bites. The owner Ronnie has done nothing to compensate me and I have now lodged a complaint with NSW Fair Trading. I could never recommend this accommodation

I don't normally bother writing reviews but the guesthouse asked customers for good reviews and frankly they deserve it.

I got a good deal online for a single room, its probably the best non-ensuite single room I've stayed in. The room had plenty of space, desk, fridge, ceiling fan, tv, and nicely decorated. The showers are the type which give you that feeling of standing under a waterfall. There's plenty of scorching hot water. Customers enjoy being well fed with complimentary dinner and breakfast, bacon and eggs on weekends. The place was well organised, check-in was easy. Its a short walk to the main shopping area and beach.

Cosy, private - and free dinner Wednesday-Friday!

Loved my short stay at Guesthouse. There's free street parking in the nearby HowieAve. There's shared bathrooms but they're always clean and private. Walking distance to shops and Cronulla beach. Wifi is amazing signal. The walls are thin but it's an old building. I'm vegetarian and Ronny was super lovely to help me and organised a veggie dinner every night I was there. The cook is also a lovely lady! :) Would stay again.

A happy month spent in Guesthouse 83

I stayed in Guesthouse 83 for a month and found it clean and welcoming. The bathrooms are modern and regularly cleaned. The staff are dedicated, accommodating and cheerful, the food good and the location close to all that I needed as a holiday maker. The smell of cigarettes floated into the passages through the open doors from the smoking area outside, but the passages and communal areas were well ventilated through open doors and windows. I can recommend this Guesthouse for any visitors passing through Cronulla.
