Great Family Holiday
We stayed here recently in March 2026 as it was cheaper to stay here with the included park entry than to just enter the park separately. The room was clean, comfy and the facilities well maintained. My daughter loved the water park and pools. Didn’t sample any of the restaurants but was surprised by the many different options available. Would definitely go back for a longer family holiday.

Fabulous Holiday
Sea World Resort Gold Coast Atmosphere was great, staff extremely helpful & friendly,

Celebrating a birthday
We stayed at the resort for one night as we were celebrating a special birthday . The hotel was quite busy.
The rooms were clean, bathroom a bit dated. The rooms are quite thin in terms of hearing others but to be honest not too bad.
Our package included entry into seaworld and movie world and also a breakfast. To be honest breakfast on 21 Jul was ok nothing amazing. What I did notice however during a very busy breakfast period was the students on the school hospitality program who in my opinion were amazing! Their attention to detail in the busy restaurant did not go unnoticed by our family. Please give them a shout out.
We didn’t use the pool so can’t comment.

The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurants had enough variety and better pricing than in the park. We enjoyed our stay at SeaWorld Resort!

Fantastic family resort – perfect for kids
We had a fantastic stay at Sea World Resort and would absolutely recommend it to families with young children.
The biggest highlight is that everything is designed with kids in mind. From the SpongeBob splash and play area, outdoor movies, and the swimming pool, to the character appearances every morning at 9:30am, there was always something to keep the kids entertained. Being able to walk straight next door into Sea World is also a huge bonus and made our holiday so easy.
We stayed in a twin-share room in the Bay View section, which was a great location and still only a short walk to the pool and the rest of the resort facilities. The bedroom itself felt modern, clean and comfortable. The only area that could use some attention is the bathroom, which is quite dated and hasn't been refurbished. It has a shower over the bath, and it definitely shows its age. That said, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room, so it was perfectly functional for what we needed.
Every staff member we encountered was absolutely phenomenal. Reception made check-in quick and welcoming, housekeeping did a fantastic job, and the service throughout the resort was outstanding.
The Shoreline Restaurant deserves a special mention. We ate there for both breakfast and dinner, and the staff were exceptional. Dinner was excellent, with a great buffet, a live singer and face painting on the night we visited, which created such a fun atmosphere for families.
Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of hot food, fresh fruit and lots of options for kids, including pancakes and a huge jar of Nutella that was a massive hit! The buffet selection is largely the same each morning, but there was enough variety for us. The only downside was that breakfast could get quite chaotic during busy periods, and the music was sometimes very loud, making it feel a little overwhelming.
We also ordered pizzas from the Melrose restaurant. They were nice, but we felt they were quite expensive for what you received, so the value for money wasn't quite there.
The resort's location is excellent if you're visiting Sea World, but if you plan to explore other parts of the Gold Coast, I'd definitely recommend hiring a car as it's not particularly close to other attractions.
Overall, this is an outstanding family resort with incredible staff, excellent facilities for children, and a location that's hard to beat if Sea World is on your itinerary. We'd happily stay here again.
