Moxy Sydney Airport is the kind of airport hotel that makes you briefly consider cancelling your flight and staying at the bar.
Arrived early, no status, no drama – they handed over a key like it was the most natural thing in the world. No “come back at three,” no sighing at the computer. Just a warm welcome and a room ready before you expected it. That alone puts them in rare air.
Check‑in at the bar is a clever move when the bar team are this good. They’re fast, friendly, and seem genuinely invested in whether you’re having a decent day. It feels more like dropping into a neighbourhood spot than navigating another anonymous hotel lobby.
The chicken schnitty? Proper comfort‑food territory. Generous, satisfying, and exactly what you want when you’re half‑way between home and a departure gate. It’s pub‑style without the pub grime, and it anchors the whole “this is more than just a transit stop” vibe.
Upstairs, the room matches the mood downstairs: clean, sharp, and well‑looked‑after, not just “turned over.” Same sense of care, same feeling that someone has actually thought about what a tired traveller needs for one night and then delivered it without making a big deal out of it.

We absolutely love that Moxy Sydney Airport had you briefly considering cancelling your flight and settling in at the bar instead. While we can't officially encourage missed departures, we're thrilled to know our team made such a strong impression from the moment you arrived.
Early check-in without the fuss, a warm welcome from the Bar Moxy crew, and a chicken schnitzel that hit the comfort-food sweet spot, that's exactly the experience we're aiming for. Really can’t fault this hotel. We booked it as it had an excellent package that included 14 days parking. Worked out nearly the same price as parking alone. Will definitely book again.

Funky and fun

Funky, quirky accommodation with so much character! The room was very comfortable, and we loved all the thoughtful little touches. We had a great view of the city, yet it was incredibly quiet and peaceful.
Staff were gorgeous, super friendly and helpful.
The location is fantastic—close to the airport, with a shuttle service available, or an easy walk if you prefer. The hamburgers were super delicious and the live music was fab.
A fun, comfortable and convenient place to stay. Would definitely recommend! Going back for another stay in a few days!

Yash the front desk agent was amazing he went above and beyond to insure our stay was comfortable. The whole staff was great, but Yash was amazing and represents Marriott and it’s brand well!

Highly recommend especially with kids

Stayed here one night before a long flight the next day. The room setup with 3 kids was wonderful- they had their own bunk room! The rooms were very clean and provided all the necessities. The restaurant was delicious, I would go there outside of staying at the hotel. The many games available to play and places to relax through the lobby were the cherry on top of.
