Cosy, warm and relaxing

My wife and I stayed at The Chalet Guesthouse and Studio for two nights after completing the Grand Canyon Walk, and it was exactly what we needed. After a long day on the trails, it was such a pleasure to arrive at this beautiful, welcoming guesthouse.
David greeted us on arrival and made us feel at home straight away. He showed us to our spacious, warm and incredibly comfortable room, which was the perfect place to relax and recover.
We ordered the hearty vegetable soup with sourdough on our first evening, and it couldn’t have been more perfect after a full day of hiking.
Both nights, the open fire was crackling away, creating a wonderfully cosy atmosphere. Between the beautiful artwork and pottery throughout the guesthouse, the King Parrots and Rosellas joining us at breakfast, and David’s genuine hospitality, every detail made our stay memorable.
We couldn’t recommend The Chalet Guesthouse and Studio more highly. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we will definitely be returning.

The Chalet is an historic and exquisitely furnished guest house. It is filled with original art and its hosts are sympathetic, kind and have an eye for detail. They think of their guests’ every need and provide ambience and comfort. It’s beautifully clean, the tables are dressed with fresh flowers and the log fire is lit in the evenings near the chesterfield sofas.

Awesome stay in a guesthouse filled with amazing art. Hosts David & David couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous guesthouse with gracious hosts

2 nights here. Cosy atmosphere. Large comfy room with ensuite with soaker tub - divine. Central heating. Spotless amenities. The best part? Breakfast was fantastic for us - and the birds. The building is set in yesteryear with fabulous artworks surrounding you. I can’t wait to return.

The Chalet Gueshouse is an excellent hotel if you are going to the Blue Mountains

In June, we spent two weeks traveling Australia. The Chalet Guesthouse was our favorite stay. David goes out of his way to make sure that everyone is comfortable. After a long day of hiking the Blue Mountains, it was such a pleasure to sit by the fireplace and enjoy the comforts of the guesthouse. Each morning, as we ate breakfast in our dining room, beautiful tropical birds ate their bird seed right on the ledge of the dining room window. It was wonderful. I highly recommend a stay at the Chalet Guesthouse.
