Exceptional service, wonderful staff, and a great birthday surprise!

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel, largely thanks to the incredible team. Every single staff member I encountered treated me exceptionally well, always greeting me with warm welcomes and genuine smiles. There was a gentleman at reception whose name I didn't catch, but he provided a wonderful, warm welcome right from the start.
I particularly want to highlight two team members, Terieva and Juliana, who were also incredibly hospitable and really set a great tone for my stay.
Terieva went completely above and beyond what you would expect from standard customer service.
On a Sunday, the stove in my room stopped working. I had called reception earlier and had been waiting, so I went downstairs on my way out to check on the status. Because the engineering team wasn't available that day, Terieva actually took the initiative to figure it out and fix the stove herself! I was so impressed by her dedication to solving a guest's problem right then and there.
To top it all off, she also noticed it was my birthday during my stay. Without me ever bringing it up, she surprised me with a lovely birthday treat. Her kindness, high attentiveness, and genuine care for guests are truly rare.
If you're looking for a hotel with a team that truly cares about your experience and makes sure you have everything you need, I highly recommend staying here. Huge thanks to the entire staff, and especially to Terieva and Juliana, for making my stay so memorable!

Unclean and in need of an update

We were quite disappointed with the standard of cleanliness during our stay. The room felt overdue for both a refresh and a thorough deep clean. The carpets were noticeably worn, and the tiled areas appeared as though they hadn’t been properly cleaned in some time. The bathroom was particularly concerning, with visible mould on both the ceiling and tiles.
It’s a shame, as the property has great potential given its excellent location. We had booked a twin room but were initially placed in a king room, which didn’t suit our needs. While staff were able to resolve this, it’s worth noting that twin room requests may not always be honoured. We won’t be returning, as I would prefer to spend a little more for a clean room.

Have stayed here a few times and the fact that I keep returning is a testament to the property. This time the room I had was near the aircon vents and was very noisy, and I asked for a quieter room which was duly provided. As a regular stayer I was rewarded with a gift, and I had to follow up for this gift. Small things, and not deal breakers, but something to watch.

This is a bit of a hidden gem, it’s right in the middle of the City, yet totally discreet. Staff go above and beyond to help and the rooms are quiet, spacious and totally functional. Pool and Fitness area is first rate. Great value for money.

Staff was very helpful .. the girl if the desk ( her name was Saraf) upgraded my room .
It was my mum ‘s first visit to Melbourne and she loved her stay .
