jonte at the front was the absolute sweetest made check in so easy and was interested in what i was doing and my interests they were an absolute angel id genuinely give 5 for them alone but the room was so nice the shower and toiletries were perfect and nice smelling the balcony was a bit sketchy for standing but thats okay apart from that everything else was perfect i would stay here again 10/10

Worst stay ever!

This was easily the worst accommodation we have ever stayed in. We booked a 5 night stay in Melbourne and chose this accommodation because of its central location. On arrival (Friday late pm) we quickly became aware the accommodation was of an inferior standard. We reported our concerns to the reception staff who were very sympathetic but informed us nothing could be done because senior management weren’t available over the weekend. It was actually Tuesday, the day before we left, that we heard from management. This was unacceptable.
The property had many issues. The settee was in a dreadful state. We had to use pillows in order to sit on it. The coffee table still had food residue on it from the previous guests and was badly marked. The fridge was so noisy i had to switch it off every night which involved dragging it out into the hallway every night. I have had spinal disc surgeries on my neck and lower back so this was particularly problematic. The bathtub was badly stained to the point where my wife wouldn’t bathe in it. You had to climb into the bathtub to shower and this wasn’t the easiest task when getting out. The apartment had a lingering smell also.

It is definitely a good location if nothing else.

Let's start with the positives: The room size is great and the location is fantastic. The negatives: The room was filthy with chocolate on the couch, like someone had grated chocolate on the couch. This hadn't been attempted to be cleaned as I managed to clean it relatively quickly with a cloth. The room stunk, like sweaty teenagers or like a dirty uber car, the bed sheets smelled of cigarette smoke and the lighting in the room is shithouse. Forget trying to use the kitchen at night, not that we did but there is no light over the sink or stove so you can't see anything. Actually I forgot another positive was the staff, they were actually fantastic, super friendly and helpful.

Checked into the hotel, and reception couldn’t be more helpful, I found the room excellent and reception recommended a fantastic place to eat in Chinatown, met the general manager who couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome. Ended up booking more rooms for my return trip in September. Well done punthill little Bourke 👍

Average at best

Location is good, cleanliness is average, the staff are not helpful I had an issue in my room with a faulty fridge which cost me hundreds of dollars in food wastage. As the fridge would intermittently turn back on again, the hotel refused to address it and left the same fridge in my room, my food spoilt and wastage cost me hundreds of dollars, they did not compensate me and they still did not fix or replace the fridge
